Diablo III Beta Patch 7 – v.0.4.1.7391
Released 12/1/11
General
- A trial version of the Diablo III Currency-Based Auction House is now available for testing. To learn more about how this feature will work in the beta, please review the FAQ: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/4024156/
- In order to fully test the Currency-Based Auction House and its features, all characters have been wiped. Please note that this wipe will also affect gold, achievements, followers, and artisans.
Bug Fixes
- The Blacksmith will now properly unlock for all players after completing the quest "A Shattered Crown: Talk to Haedrig Eamon"
- Fixed an issue with viewing Achievements while in a Public Game
- Fixed an issue where players in a Solo Game were being kicked by a "party leader"
I'll wait for a full RMAH coverage in the coming days.
Thank you CherubDown!
I thought they would at least keep those and wipe everything else.
Which were?
And I dont even have the beta, my buddy does. Hard to make movies, but I'll do it anyways
You may not be aware of this and I have it on good authority that what you are playing is called THE BETA. Your achievements, your amazingly decked out level 13 characters, your loads of cool crap over flowing in your stash - they mean NOTHING once THE BETA is complete and the REAL GAME is released. Why do you whine every time they make a change to the Beta that gives you something to TEST and to EXPERIENCE? Why do you whine when you get to play THE BETA?
I thought so. No good reason.
Sigh.
I have beta, I make videos about it (not gameplay) - but Im not upset, Im happy! I love the beta!
As for people complaining about how little the changes are in this patch... I'm sure originally (by the sounds of it) they weren't going to wipe everything, but they decided it was easier to do. The BIG thing here is the RMAH that they want to test, that's no little thing. The rest of the changes aren't too big, but that doesn't mean Blizzard isn't listening to our feedback on other things. I'm sure they are working on getting those things sorted out, but the RMAH was ready to be tested now and it makes no sense to wait for all the other things to get fixed before releasing the RMAH for testing.
Anyone else notice this, or are my memory playing tricks on me..?
Since this patch does not bring anything new to test/play (only the RMAH wich i'm not so excited about) i've decide to take a break and will come back when significative changes appear, so i will test then. I'm afraid if I run the begnning of Act I 20 times I will be bored to play it in the release. So i kind like to "save" the amounts of time i will play the beta.
