With the recent information from GamesCom and the end-game Panel that Blizzard conducted, we are curious as to how you feel about it. What kind of D3 end-game would you like to see, if any? Keep in mind, currently Blizzard is only planning on having the Inferno difficulty act as "end-game" for the release of Diablo III. Post-release though, they have some cool stuff planned, so let's let them know what it is that we want to see! :).
- Infinite Dungeon: Imagine a never-ending dungeon (with a timer to track your duration), where your progress is measured by how far you make it (based on checkpoints!) and how long it takes you.
- Horde Mode/PvP: Something very similar to the Horde Mode in Gears of War, where you must survive wave upon wave of monsters with, while in the Arena!
- Pandemonium Events: Unique, hard to achieve content, similar to Diablo Clone, and Uber Tristram from Diablo II.
- Unicorn Level: I think this speaks for itself, ;).
- Inferno is good enough: Don't want anything extra and you'd rather just farm for items...
- Other: If you have a different or better idea, let us know in the comments below!

In our previous poll, we wanted to know what ComicCon swag you were looking forward to the most... And the Tyrael Hoodie won by a landslide!
This time around in the DiabloCast, PhrozenDragon joins us as we talk about the new information from GamesCom! If you missed the twenty-first episode, you can check it out here. Otherwise, the twenty-second episode covered the following topics:

yes that's right, he warped in the future to get this information,.... fail? or am i missing something
Food for thought
I'd like an infinite dungeon. Get the 'grind' in while challenging yourself.
My vote is for Pandemonium, it was the last challenge in D2, it would be cool to do it again.
This.
Sixen sounded a little too whiny (sorry) about the situation. If you enjoyed playing the game on hell difficulty looking for items in D2, you'll get plenty of enjoyment out of Inferno until well after Blizz adds another mode or 2 for "endgame."
You say that there will be no new gameplay, but there will be monster affixes that can spawn on monsters that couldn't before. WoW endgame is all about grinding for new items. "oh but the encounters are different" not really, there might be 1-2 genuinely "new" encounters per raid tier, with the vast majority recycling mechanics. The "newness" comes from the various combinations. This will be true for D3 Inferno as well.
I mean, I look at Inferno as the equivalent of say, heroic dungeons in a new WoW expansion. It will keep you busy until you're ready for a raid. A raid in D3 terms will be whatever they add on later, and until-you're-ready will be getting those items/runes/crafts that you want.
Also, you can make money on this endgame. That will keep me plenty interested.
So there is this quest in inferno called "The Quest Of Inferno"
And in the quest, you have to kill a really hard boss, and the only way to do that is to get a special sword that has been smashed into 10 pieces.
To obtain the special sword you need to get to the end of a 100 level tower. Each level gets exponentially harder and every 10 levels there is a waypoint and a boss which drops a 10th piece of the sword.
Once you kill the boss, he uses his special move to kill you and send your soul to rainbow world. In rainbow world every monster is a rainbow unicorn.
To get out of rainbow world, you need to do the same quest again but this time, instead of the really hard boss, its a giant nyan cat and you have to find the special rainbow shield that has been smashed into 10 pieces.
Only then can you defend from the rainbow beams of devistation and escape rainbow world forever.
(If someone would be so kind as to post this on the bnet forums, that would be great thanks)

Also wanted to say that blizzard has not stated that inferno won't have anything besides just the same 4 acts, there may be additional content thrown in there somewhere, be it a boss only accessible in inferno, extra quests or maybe even a new area or dungeon. They really haven't talked a whole lot about it otherwise so let's hope there will be more!
While we are on the copy and paste WoW systems mood, what about an end-game currency (sellable on RMAH ofc, before you anti-RMAH nutters get in on this) that can be earned for some random end such as high tier gear, large or specific & special upgrades to artisans, reapplication of runes, or a title or some achievement style crap?
I just don't know how many times does Jay Wilson have to keep on repeating himself before people starts to really listen and get what he has been saying all along.
According to Jay in this interview video, Inferno would really, really be a very hard & difficult level that you'll need to make many more runs in Hell before you are suitably equipped for the task of facing the HORDES OF MONSTERS WHOSE MINIMUM LEVEL IS 61.
