Fortunately, D3 beta isnt quite the typical videogame beta. Apparently their testing the software systems in their alpha and in-company testing. They just want to test their hardware with the beta. So sorta good news it means D3 can be just about done when they release beta, we'd just never know.

MYself, Im past the days of having fun with this as a joke, tell us solid information or get back to work, we want this game this year. Stop joking around.

Eh, fuck it, it's not that big of a deal. I've already got my share of good news today (a la Inferno difficulty).

Slow blizzard. They can't just patch in their gay systems after they let us play. This game is not coming out early 2012, its coming out end of Q1. Mark my words.

I feel the event will reveal most of the information we'll get before the Beta release. "Most" being the key word, I expect Blizzard to leave out snidbits of information from the event so they can spoon feed us art, and small details throughout August, holding the Beta for September.

Lol at all the ragers saying this means no more 2011 release. They said 2 months for Beta, that means it will be over in November.

Didn't we learn our months of the year in Kindergarten?

Ok, so here is my question.

Just for the sake of argument, let's say the Beta lasts 2 months. Is not possible that they will still have a lot work to do after the beta? Including all the feedback they get from testers, and whatever tweaks they need to make to polish it off? That could easily push the game to early 2012.

I mean, just because the beta may only take 2 months, doesn't necessarily mean..they will be able to release it within a month or two afterward. I would hate to think for this to happen, but the thought is always itching at the back of my head. I still hope they are able to keep to their goal, I really do.

It's pleasing to know that they don't need much time to test. I just can't completely assume that means it will be out when they intend. I certainly welcome anyone to positively change my opinion to reassure that I shouldn't worry this much. It's just in my nature unfortunately.
