The Fallen Shaman's daggers have been re-textured it looks like. Maybe they are going through all the monsters and giving them some more flavor.

They do that with every game i think. When they were alpha in SC2 the game didn't have too good textures. They revamped it completely by the time they hit beta. I don't think that's the case yet, but i'm pretty sure they started the process.

I totally remember that looking at early SC2 screens. I was actually kind of depressed cause everything looked so plastic and lacked the gritty aesthetic of the first game. But to their credit by the time the game came out all the machinery in the game had a really nice worn look to it.

i know i heard about it just recently, but they got rid of the idea because of a few reasons. One was the accidental swap from wepon to no wepon. Im sure someone elce can elaborate better or lead u to the source.

Well I'm pretty sure the rationale was that it was essentially used as extra storage for a not as good weapon. And there will be traits that add damage based on what weapon you're using, but I don't know about it playing a big role. The extra damage and other bonuses for specific weapons don't seem to be huge, so it could end up being more something that you use to min/max during the endgame instead of something you have to use throughout your leveling.

This skill is named "Impenetrable Defence" in D3 official website. And he does not use the staff, he uses his hands. Theres no reason to be believe he can use do it only with a staff...

It might just be me, but the headpiece the monk is wearing makes me think of Dr. Mario with a beard. Just sayin'.

I've got to say, the monk's stock is rising. I'm stoked to see what more of his armor will look like. What I really want to talk about is the concept art though. I love how much detail has gone into it and the idea of totally transforming the standard fireball. The creepy elemental quality is awesome! Maybe one of the runes will allow whatever creature that is to follow the WD around.

Well its not quite the standard fireball, its a firebomb, and the WD throws it in an arc. Kinda like a molotov cocktail. The only rune we've seen so far for it makes it bounce an extra time.

Ah yea, there was one that sent bits of the firebomb flying and they would leave fire where they fell. I'm pretty sure we've only seen that in the bounce though, I can't find anything about a different one.
