Curse Announces Starcraft 2 Map Hosting Platform!
Starcraft II is easily one of most anticipated games of 2010, and who would we be if we didn't cover it and build the best fansites available for this new title! Well....We're proud to announce the release of a new section here at Curse; our Starcraft 2 Map Hosting portal!
We've previously mentioned SC2Mapster.com, which is our development/author community for Starcraft 2 maps, and how they've been hard at work on creating high-quality maps for the upcoming mega-hit from Blizzard. Now we've got a place for you to go and download until your heart is content!
Our amazing author community has already pieced together nearly 250 Starcraft 2 maps with various types of gameplay, objectives, and styles. Interested in learning more about the map editor tools yourself? Visit our Starcraft 2 Forums at SC2Mapster.com to find out more!

Oh come on Umpa, it's not like we're pushing down any major D3 news. In fact, we're not even pushing down minor news. Or ANY news for that matter.
They foot the server bill, I think it's a fair deal. And plus, I run SC2Mapster.com, so how could it not be cool? :P.
So what I'm saying is I don't care your reasoning behind it all because at the end of the day this is a Diablo3 fansite and I am going to respectfully disagree and complain and take your criticisms in stride. I mean come on, you know SOMEBODY would complain about this, so...Hell, I'll speak for them lol!
And if your wondering, yes a lot of this is underlying hate for what Curse has done to the site versus what it has not done. Because frankly, a cool background graphic and forum layout has no bearing on the success of the site. Thats a fact considering the recent activity. However, a bunch of adds for different games and articles completely unrelated to Diablo takes away a lot from this site in my opinion. This has nothing to do with staff management. I <3 u guys, and commend hammy on trying to keep the site alive during a diablo dry period. In fact, this may be an ignorant statement but, from the basic users standpoint, hammy has done way more for the site than Curse has. Good day!!!
Nor am I saying this is not cool news or something. It's like putting news about who won the Super Bowl in the Diablo 3 section. It's great news but...It's not relevant to the forum section. Likewise, cool SC2 news but, wrong place.
And besides, what is Curse expecting? To be a meaningful database for SC2 maps? Give me a break. Of all SC2 news they can give us, this is the kind that is least worth of mention.
