For years, we at DiabloFans have striven to bring the best to the Diablo community, including a large and growing Wiki, diverse and articulate weekly news articles, and a friendly, well-maintained, active forum board. DiabloFans is now taking a leap in to the future with a dynamic and powerful new Diablo II skill calculator!
Compliments of Superceb, the former Administrator of DiabloExile (which now redirects to DFans) and new DiabloFans Staff member, this has all become possible. The tool boasts interactive skill point allotment, real-time statistics with your current build, and a special Link to Build button, which allows you to post a special URL anywhere that will link back to your special build! The current version is fully up-to-date with Diablo II Patch 1.13 in preparation for the impending ladder reset and official release of the patch.
In addition, please be sure to report any feedback, including bug reports and suggestions, to its new board counterpart, the Diablo Tools Discussion forum.
Hope you enjoy the Skill Calculator! It's in beta phase so report the bugs you find in the Diablo Tools Discussion so I can fix them asap.
Enjoy!
For D3? Nah... something even better I hope!
if this community needed something that was a tools section... you guys think of everything!!!!
Used the URL feature to add a preview from my ESL Sorc build page on the Wiki
When the beta is done hopefully we can port this over to mods such as Eastern Sun. I am willing to help with getting the data for ES since I do have the text files fos the mod. The moderator for ES at the official forum of the mod will be very happy.
Are using java to program?
Awesome, you didn't use your skills from quests though!
Yes we talked about that already (here) and we plan on adding it when the higher priority work is done. The Calculator is in Javascript.

Thanks
[edit] I found out how it is done and enjoy the rep.
Thanks! Even though I'm don't really care about my status on a forum, as long as I can post I don't see what it really changes.
But still appreciated!
That is a really good idea!! That would be so cool.
We are likely to have a progression of the skills to 20/25/30 depending on the skills hardpoints. I think we will also have the information on how to calculate the skill for higher levels. We may also add formulas on how to add in elemental masteries as well. The last two may not be needed if we get the planner ported to ES. Since that tool will be a lot easier to use.
