What Would Make PvP Better?
The most notable change in this area from Diablo I to its predecessor was the change from the persistent friendly fire of Diablo I, where any projectile could hurt your comrades or simply other players in the game, to the system of Diablo II, which required players to declare hostility against other players. With this came even further changes as the game grew older, including patching of some side affects that were not fully handled in the initial release of Diablo II. This included things like magical projectiles being cast before a player clicks the hostility button and then instantly killing other players unknowingly. Other restrictions included restricted access to Town Portals and Way Points.
Other issues which were still never addressed are some continuing aspects of griefing, which is often exploited by more powerful characters on the weak, the spamming of health, mana, and rejuvenation potions during duels, and the heavily controversial gift of Teleportation, an original skill of the Sorceress, which was allowed to be used with any character until the introduction of the Enigma runeword, which was introduced in patch 1.10.
What needs to be better with Diablo III's PvP system? What was bad about it in previous games? What new mechanics should be introduced to it to make it a more viable time-consumer in the end-game?
Each persons have them own way to like it. I just don't understand yours.
I don't want investing 10 hours to build a character and lose all those hours in 3 seconds.

Diablo was never "all about PvP" ? where you find that ? PvP is a small feature that blizzard fit in the game without polishing and balancing that.
And Now blizzard will try to balancing that... If your fun is to disturbing people, find other activity !! your kind of game is a shooter, you'll be able to join a game and kill all what you can, like you want !!
I don't understand why people don't understand that PK is a big problem, You all cry you want hypocritly kill people.
All PK I see in d2, are high level against low, when that kind of people see a disavantage, you coward.... You just love the unfair play, you're only a selfish that don't think about others.

And people who just want to PK are usually jerks and babies, because one jerk kills everyone, steals everything, then one lucky guy has a beter char who brings him over, kills him, and then takes that guys gold. Then the original jerk cries and moans for it back, for a rematch to only get fked again, and wine sommore.
What there doing is the perfect answer if they wont impolement a PvP mode like hardcore, removing hostility.

even though i would rather have one giant PvP world. the PvP world should have something better in it, because you run a bigger risk...well not softcore i guess.

And getting killed in softccore can cost you alot. You still lose exp in nightmare and hell if you cant get the body, it tells you it cost you exp. and how do you get your 12 bodies back if the jerks naked PK you? Thought so.

Its always an accept or dont idea, so if somone trys to play you, you deny it, if you duel and somone has a found advantage after the first fight, you might offer a handicap for the next fight to make it more fun and chalenging.

Double corpsing is just one term for it. Other people might say popping items or popping corpses or whatever since in effect the players items would pop all over the ground. If you ever did a lot of pvp in D2 you should know about this.
And dorge, you don't lose exp from dying to players, only when dying from monsters. If you don't believe me, then I think you will believe Seth:
