Discuss what you think about this new Blizzcast which is supposed to be almost exclusively about Diablo 3.
Here are the four new Diablo 3 images that were included with BlizzCast 8 which primarily showcase the inventory system:
I (mockery) particularly like the little details, such as the difference in the stitching around the borders depending on whether you have a bag or a burlap sack selected. The inventory system as a whole looks really sharp if you ask me. What do you think about it?
(Thanks to Lord Petrov.)
I don't think the color change means anything, but it's just something I noticed.
Wow, you're right, it's almost like it's half transparent. I wonder if it is, like real stained glass, that'd be so awesome.
I can make out a few lines that could be the walls in the mini-map.
That's what I was thinking looks like some lines of the mini map are showing through or something.
So it actually works like stained glass and is partially transparent.
And damn there aren't too many slots avaliable for items! I know they said that as you level up more will become available.. but. Ah well then again there's the stash, lol. I wonder how that will work out. And what the heck is a talisman? Is that like a second amulet.. or a quest item?
I like the new screens and the information was good.
An overall good interview.
: )
I'm a little bummed about the uniques not being in gold anymore. Where did they say that? Maybe i'm just in denial, but I don't know if they actually said that.
Some people pointed out that the armor equipped in the inventory was not accurately displaying on the character model--but the game still is in development, and the armor we see in the screen shots displayed on the character is probably just a placeholder. If you think about it, people seem to be worried about them cutting corners on character appearance because of the way it was limited in Diablo II. But that was eight years ago, and while Blizzard is doing some controversial things, on the whole they know what their fans want and they know what's expected of a game made in this day and age. I mean, if they weren't listening, why did the publish that picture of the thousand pounder? There was lieterally nothing different except for the statues that some fans criticised months ago. It was as if they gave us that picture for the sole purpose of saying "we're listening".
At any rate, I have faith in them to make a great game. They're taking their time, they're focusing on producing the absolute best product that they can. Good things are bound to result.
I think the left click/ right click/ tab-swap/ is going to work pretty well for using skills.
But I lol'd at you taking it as something that will actually appear in the game.

If it's been stated then my bad, but here for people to take a second look
Al you do is hack and slash through hordes of Demons and Monsters and your rage fills and then you use it as you would Mana.. and it eventually works it's way back down.
Rinse, Lather, Repeat.
