Official Diablo 3 Site Media Update #3

Good news for those of you who've been starving for some new sights from Diablo 3! Blizzard has just updated the official Diablo 3 web site with three new pieces of concept artwork and seven new screenshots!

Bashiok reports, "We've just updated the official Diablo III website with new sights and sounds, as well as three new concept images and seven new screenshots. Go ahead and check out the entire site as there have been changes all around, including additional music."

First up, we have these really nice pieces of concept art by three different artists - Peter Lee, Victor Lee and Trent:

Next up, are the five new screenshots showing more of the Barbarian, Wizard and Witch Doctor doing what they do best down in the dungeon:

What do you think of these latest screenshots and concept art pieces? Anything in particular that catches your eye? I'm definitely loving the Caldeum Bandit City one with the power-generating windmills. Hell of a nice piece! I gotta say, between the updated Tyrael animation on the official Diablo 3 homepage and now all these new images, it feels like Christmas is coming a little early this year for us Diablo fans!

It's crazy to see that the Peter Lee one is from '06. They HAVE been working on this for a long time (I know it was said that they moved the team down when the initial Bliz North team got dropped, just didn't realize how hardcore). Very cool to see the concept art. It just needs to come out next year now, because I want to play it so bad.

Its been sooooooo long now its seems like they killing me wiith this!!

ok think of it this way...there hasnt been any new updates in the last month. what does this mean? it means blizzard is working on the game. which means a quicker time to get realesed. so thanks for the quick lil screenshots to show us that your not on vacation guys. keep up the hard work.:thumbsup:

thats probably true...but the screenshots and artwork would have to come from the dev team. so they would have to give that info to the website developers. so maybe they are more focus on the game then realeasing new info...idk. i just hope thats what they are doing.

I'm mildly entertained by the artwork, but the screenshots are just more of the same. Same locations, same classes, same spells, just mixed up a little each new update.
