The Diablo 3 Rainbow T-Shirt Survey
It's obviously a tongue-in-cheek response to all the fans who believed the new game was going to be too bright and colorful, but these shirts were only made in short supply for the Diablo 3 development team. I was crushed to learn this because the moment I saw it, a little voice in the back of my head said, "If there's one thing I need to leave BlizzCon 2008 with, it's that t-shirt!" Leonard and Jay Wilson claimed that they weren't planning on releasing the t-shirt because they worried some fans wouldn't appreciate the lighthearted treatment of a game like Diablo. Personally, I think the shirt is hilarious and want to see it made available to the public. I like to think that all of you share the same sense of humor.
Well, during our meeting I promised them that I would conduct a poll for all the Diablo fans to vote on because I had a feeling most of you would agree that this shirt needs to go up for sale or, at the very least, be included with some Diablo 3 Collector's Edition set when the game is finally released.
So the time has come to voice your opinions about it. If you want the Diablo 3 rainbow t-shirt to be made available for purchase, please show your support for it by replying to this thread and voting in our poll! If enough of us show our support for it, we just might have a Diablo 3 rainbow t-shirt (ponies and happy clouds 'n all) as a part of our future wardrobes.

Can't see the problem really. A level 80 My Little Pony would pwn the Big D. Especially if she used her rainbow aura and had equipped her +2 sparkle radius WoW shoulder pads.
Sad you people see this as a gesture towards sarcasm with the first lash out at Blizzard, I see this as actually Diablo 3 cause it is actually Diablo 3.
History has proven with the Diablo franchise you kids cry, blizzard makes the game more rainbowish every patch, sooner or later this will be Diablo and it is on a golden road right now to being just that.
i want that shirt
NO WAY!
GAY!!!
And, shows their CRAPPY attitude that they really DON'T give a **** at all what we fans think!
And that is totally fine, because you're a player. You're not expected to know. But you don't know what you're missing
I'm all for jokes, but there is no humor in this. It's like...the US attacks some country, and they say, hey please stop attacking us, and the US laughs and the president starts wearing a T-shirt that says, "Nuke the bastards!" A little more serious because it involves peoples lives but thats the same basic thing: people ask for a change, and the company laughs it off and makes a T-shirt saying they don't care. Where is the joke in that? That's just being an ass.
How about a new Tshirt, "Diablo 3: Made For Blizzard Employees, By Blizzard Employees."
At the very least, D3 Collector's Edition.
To those wanting black shirts:
I'm thinking that if the shirts were black, it would kinda drift away from the whole idea of the shirt... The reason the shirt is made is because people think that D3 won't be dark enough... So this shirt is full of color and not dark at all... Making the shirt on a dark color would kind of defeat the whole purpose of the joke, no?
0.o I want one.
Agreed.
This one just obviously doesn't get it.
Are you honestly so egotistically delusional to believe that the hundreds of top-of-the-industry artists that Blizzard hires did not think of using "bump mapping?" Please.
And I don't believe that blizzard is saying they "don't give a shit about those fans." I saw it as a hilarious, albeit sarcastic, gesture saying "Hey, we hear you, we have the same desires as you; we don't want a happy Diablo 3 either."
To those of you still complaining about the art direction, did any of you actually play the game at Blizzcon?
In that short little demo at Blizzcon, I could FEEL the dark, gritty essence of the Diablo games. I could care less what screenshots look like; Blizzard has emulated and enhanced the Diablo FEEL.
Oh, and I still want this shirt!
They've said, repeatedly, that the atmosphere gets darker as you get further into the game.
Hehe werd to the fellow .nz player =D
