For those of you who have been thinking of starting your own Diablo 3 fan site, Blizzard wants to help you get started. They've just unveiled a new Diablo III Fan Site Kit which contains a variety of goodies:

"The assets in our official Diablo III Fansite Kit are a potential bonanza for those who wish to build their own Diablo III related fansites. This downloadable package contains the following content, including some exclusive assets:

Art assets including concept art, hi-res logos, and wallpapers
Site design elements including borders, backgrounds, fonts, and stylesheets
Exclusive content: Forum avatars / Messenger images
Diablo III fact sheet and FAQ
Site building tips"

I downloaded it. Too bad I have no website design talent whatsoever

Doesn't Blizzard release one of these for each of there games anymore?

Actually doesn't every major company release one of these for there games anymore?

I assume there is something special in the kit?... If not then why is it news, as it should simply be expected from a large company like Blizzard....

It's something new on the official site. New things are considered news.

Anyway the kit has a lot of cool stuff, didn't spot anything new so far but it's pretty neat.

I think these artworks are new. Shame on me if they are actually old.

I'm not sure about this screenshot though, it may be old I just don't recognise it.

And this small image is an avatar of someone or something I don't recognise either. Seems to just be generic undead.

The rest is definitely new though, right?

Have I just seen Pit Flyer Spawner? I hat those "spawner" things, like the act1 bird nest or the act2 plague bearer sarcophaz.45$? what ever and the evil globlins hut in act5. I think that they sucked, tho they will make a return in 3 i believe...

And am I alone to think that the Goatman now have a badass stance? In D1 and 2, they were like standing on the legs and we felt like they were walking for the first time of their lives, now, they feel so much agiile and strong, love it.

The last female avatar is just concept art for the Wizard.

And good to know I don't have to feel shame, lol. The Triune are definitely gonna be a major part of DIII.

there is a file named "Diablo III Fact Sheet" into the kit that says: "New quest system and character-customization options for the ultimate action-RPG experience."
what kind of customizations are these? only the gender?

This does mean one thing though, they are closer yet to releasing it if they are at the stage where they release the fansite kit.

So then why did something that every company does get the title and the new pictures comment not get it's own thread but instead get a mention in another thread?
