After a quick look at the floor plan, you'll notice three different color-coded "Hands-on Gaming" sections. Based on their colors, it seems like there's one for Starcraft 2, one for Wrath of the Lich King, and one for Diablo III."We’ve just released the final schedule and floor plan for BlizzCon. The schedule lists the locations and times for the major events that will take place during the convention, such as hands-on gaming, tournaments, contests, and of course the developer panels where Blizzard’s game designers talk about the many aspects of making a great game. The floor plan will give you more information on the exact locations of this year’s points of interest such as the stores, hands-on gaming stations, and more.
Check out the schedule of events and the interactive floor plan now!"
That being said, there is still no official confirmation as to whether or not a demo of the game will be playable as Bashiok explains to us:
Definitely looking forward to checking out the Retro Arcade as well. Here's hoping The Lost Vikings is included!"We're very excited to be offering additional hall space and hands-on gaming areas, including our Retro Arcade. The games available at each area will be listed in the show schedule handed out at the time of badge pick up." -Bashiok
And take a look at that schedule of events. I'm definitely looking forward to the Diablo III Gameplay, Diablo III Lore & Art, and Diablo III Class Design panels along with some other general Blizzard ones... how about you guys?
I don't think D3 will be ready for Christmas, but I wonder if the team are being shy about the game's progress to launch a massive Christmas release, it will be the greatest thing to happen on Christmas since we learned Santa was gay and Mrs. Clause was a cover-up.
We can only sit back and bask in curiosity and anticipation.
I noticed the red symbol too.
For those of you going to BlizzCon, maybe I'll see you there!
Maybe we can duel with the *hopefully* playable demo!
Once they get that stuff out of the way the content valve opens to 100%.
i CAN HAZ dEMO NOW?
It's from one of the WoW cinematic videos... I don't get what you mean.
Ah, damn it
Looking at the detail they are putting into Starcraft II Singleplayer...I'm sure we'll be seeing starcraft in the First Quarter of 2009 since they've more or less reached a consensus on what units work for multiplayer and what units don't.
Diablo 3 looks likely to be polished and ready to go somewhere in the middle or end of the second quarter of 2009. Blizzard's already got WotLK shipping close to Christmas- they're most likely going to pace their releases instead of dump em too close together- they've always done that quite expertly in the past.
Basically...don't hold your breath
YOU HEARD IT HERE 1sT
about this next gen mmo what do you think it will involve? Pre history like cavemen type crap only with normal looking people who are mnomads and have to hunt and kill the evil things of the world, or soemthing along diablos lines where there is evil demons in like medieval times or guns like a normal present day world while we fight the terrorists. or a wow based game in which it has the fantasy aspct with magic but in the future like wow or do you think it will be a plasma gun type mmo like SC
thoughts please
do you go to high school cuz if you do dont they like make you payy if you cut so that you dont cut.....and if your absent they call ur prnts rite and if they say isnt he in school ur gunna be fucked dude
As much as I hate to deviate from the topic... where the fuck to you go to school, an early world war two concentration camp?
And more on topic-ish, I really doubt it'll be playable. Blizzard tends to have a very "it's done when it's done" policy. That could be a year, or a millenium if you look at past projects like ghost. The waiting and delays on that were ridiculous. (Incidently, ghost was kaibosched, so... I don't know where I'm going with this.)
