After a quick look at the floor plan, you'll notice three different color-coded "Hands-on Gaming" sections. Based on their colors, it seems like there's one for Starcraft 2, one for Wrath of the Lich King, and one for Diablo III."We’ve just released the final schedule and floor plan for BlizzCon. The schedule lists the locations and times for the major events that will take place during the convention, such as hands-on gaming, tournaments, contests, and of course the developer panels where Blizzard’s game designers talk about the many aspects of making a great game. The floor plan will give you more information on the exact locations of this year’s points of interest such as the stores, hands-on gaming stations, and more.
Check out the schedule of events and the interactive floor plan now!"
That being said, there is still no official confirmation as to whether or not a demo of the game will be playable as Bashiok explains to us:
Definitely looking forward to checking out the Retro Arcade as well. Here's hoping The Lost Vikings is included!"We're very excited to be offering additional hall space and hands-on gaming areas, including our Retro Arcade. The games available at each area will be listed in the show schedule handed out at the time of badge pick up." -Bashiok
And take a look at that schedule of events. I'm definitely looking forward to the Diablo III Gameplay, Diablo III Lore & Art, and Diablo III Class Design panels along with some other general Blizzard ones... how about you guys?
F***.
lol, i do hope it is playable though, a new gameplay video would be very nice. I also want to have diablo lore updates, i'm one of those people who really gets into a game with good story, and that effects a large quantity of overall playability for me.
A starcraft 2 zerg section would be lovely, i want to read the story behind some of those new badass zerg units that make infested terran marines... WHO USE GUNS!
I can only sit here and stew in my own jealously and anticipation.
lol there is no way diablo 3 is coming out in 08
maybe they will announce all 5 classes by the end of 08, but that's it
Early 09 - SC2
Late 09 - D3
Late 10 - World of *****
I won't add much about this question, but based on what we already know and my healthy logic...
...My bet is; Yes.
><
yes, maybe 10 years ago when satellite was bad
don't listen to the comcast/time warner propaganda
also, buying blizzcon on tv isn't worth it unless they are announcing their new mmo
Umm, i think you just busted your own hypothesis there with the "retro arcade". Lets have a count, shall we? Assuming retro arcade is one of the THREE hands on places, that means one will be a retro arcade (diablo I anyone?) another will 100% be starcraft 2, and the other will either be WotLK (most probable) or Diablo III (sadly, probably not) So.. It's probably not going to be a diablo iii demo there. We can always hope, though.
Do you have a videocamera ? Would be nice to see you play the demo if there is one so we can see the new content hehe
Mockery is the all-master.
Hehe, and a full playable demo sounds pretty awesome. I wonder if the "players" will be doing the first quest, or will they be playing a level made just for the game?
