According to Bashiok (source), a new Diablo 3 website update is due on Thursday, October 2. In this new update, fans will find out what was inside the cage as told in the Dune Thrasher tale.
This might be the last website update until BlizzCon. And if you were living under a rock, BlizzCon is in 10 days. (October 10-11th)
I believe he meant that he hopes that with the close arrival of BlizzCon they will be more generous with updates, he can't provide a source for a hope he has.
I wonder what is in that cage??? another monster or some kind of bait for Dune Threshers...anyways back to topic, yeah Blizzard updates there site too rarely and can't wait for BlizzCon08 results!!!!!!
As annoying as they are, I kinda hope it one of those sand/cave leapers. It would be fun to more thoroughly smash them. They did scream a lot and coud be fit inot a small cage, so maybe...
I just hope they create one of those link icons to the page.
It's the only one missing on my links bar, so it's the only one that still needs its name by to identify it...
Of course I'm looking forward to the content update, and of course for whatever they got in store for BlizzCon, BUT SERIOUSLY MAN, AN ICON!
Yeah seems like Starcraft 2 isn't getting much content updates but let's not forget 2 different teams are working on 2 different games
3 if you count WOW. Or is it 4 if you count the new unannounced project they are working on which seems probable that is is a new MMO unrelated to the other series. Or at least a game (of any genre (RTS, FPS, RPG.. etc) unrelated to the other series they already have. Or is it 5? Activision (which BLizzard now owns) is often by fans referred to as "Blizzard Console" they are either working on a new game or working on Starcraft: Ghost, after all, SC:G wasn't cancelled, it was just indefinitely postponed until such time as it is picked up again.
This is good news. But then again, any news is good news. Where is Operation CWAL (Can't Wait Any Longer). I want to join, the suspense is driving me nutzo.
man, u can't compare those games, they are both revolutionary wonders of the world...each has their fans. Me, I'm not really a fan of Starcraft (I mean I played but beat the game once, played a bit multiplayer and that was it). However, I'm a big of a fan as all of you here of Diablo and since the styles are completely different between Diablo and Starcraft, there's no comparison. All I can say is thank you Blizzard for making the best games in the world (imho).
I just can't wait for Blizzcon...I even had a dream about it last night (that's when u know ur mind is @ work)

Hopefully with Blizzcon coming up, they'll start adding more content to the website a little faster..Instead of waiting 3 months in between updates.
It began with Part One of the story, Encounter with Burrowing Death, that went along with the Dune Thresher's entry in the Bestiary.
Of course, after. Can't expect Blizz to let out ALL of their goodies before their big event, can we?
hehe

D3 doesn't have an entire country dedicated to it
