Win Tickets To BlizzCon 2008!
I'm making this giveaway really simple. Just make a post in this thread about what you're looking forward to most at BlizzCon (trying out a the games, watching a particular panel, seeing your online pals from across the globe, the tournaments, costumes, etc.) and you'll automatically be entered in the giveaway contest. That's all there is to it. There are a few important rules and requirements, however, so be sure to read them thoroughly before making your post.
GIVEAWAY RULES (please read):
-In order to enter, you need to have been a member of DiabloFans.com for at least 2 months and you need to have made at least 30 posts. (We're trying to reward people who have been with us for a while and who have proven themselves to be active members of the community, rather than newcomers who are registering simply to try winning a quick prize.)
-You may only post once in the thread. If you post more than once, your entry will be disqualified.
-The five lucky winners will be randomly drawn from this thread.
-The winners of the BlizzCon 2008 tickets will be responsible for making their own travel and hotel arrangements in Anaheim on October 10 - 11th. We are simply giving away tickets to the BlizzCon 2008 event itself.
-Please do NOT enter unless you are able to attend BlizzCon 2008 and haven't already purchased tickets. There are a lot of people who really want to attend this event, so please don't spoil their chances by entering if you can't really attend the event or you already have tickets.
-Your tickets cannot be given away or sold to anybody else but you.
-One entry per household please.
-All entries must be submitted by Wednesday, September 24th at 11:59pm PST. The giveaway results will be posted shortly thereafter.
-For more information about BlizzCon 2008, please visit www.blizzard.com/blizzcon.
Ok that's it. Good luck everybody!
I didn't Disagree with the part where you need to have been registered for at least two months. That's really all you need. You registered the same Month that I did. Just because I prefer to read instead of post shouldn't matter.
pllzzz random picker... choose me
I am looking forward to seeing and testing the games more than anything, I really want to see new Diablo 3 info or demos, I want to see Starcraft 2 and possibly play it, also would like to see all of the costumes etc. that people come up with.
Going to Blizzcon would literally make me pee my pants, crossing my fingers **
anyways the thing I look forward to the most is learning what new character classes there will be from either panels and hopefully a demo??
What i'm looking most forward in blizzcon is definitely diablo 3, if I am able to attent i hope i can watch the diablo 3 panel, and i'd be all over that thing, till they'd have to pry me out of the area :o, if they had diablo 3 up and running, i'd definitely do whatever it would take to get my hands on it for whatever the time would be.
What i really look forward to is seeing people there from this community, plus others if i get a chance to go, blizzcon is something i've always wanted to attend however i never got the chance. When i was younger, i'd always dream about going, because i was so excited of what new games blizzard was pumping out, and now I'm getting the same feeling from this years 2008 blizzcon.
Plus if it accounts for anything, i've bought diablo 2 like over 7 times :| (lost it, and couldn't live without it).
On another note i'm also looking forward to starcraft 2 playability, that looks pretty cool, but my main focus is still and always will be Diablo.
all in all, i love all blizzard products and i'd say i'm the biggest fan, of any game that they've released i've been playing them all my life, and i still do.
I really don't expect to win, but its worth a shot.
Post in here, have more than 50 posts, be here for more than 2 months, and you could be randomly picked to receive a free Blizzcon ticket. Lodging and travel are on you, though. Only the ticket to actually get in will be awarded.
Vote for me this election because I have a lot to bring to the table and have the resources to do some major things at the event while stepping up diablofans site coverage up a couple notches!
