Diablo II Digital Downloads Soon

DatH responded there will be a digital download option soon to buy Diablo II and its Lord of Destruction expansion.

The recent Diablo II patch 1.12a seems to imply a minor patch is already in the works. This has not been confirmed yet. It is not common to name a recently released patch such as 1.12a with the 'a' at the end, unless there are plans to release 1.12b. Stay tuned.

would be great if Blizzard put all there games on Steam, would make it really easy to download all the older games and prehaps even the newer ones

I think the people here are either used to the game not being announced or have restrained themselves from believing that the game will be announced. Either would allow them to avoid or cope with dissapointment.

That rusty tornado page was posted a few years ago when Blizzard announced a Diablo patch which introduced Ruststorm. That page is around 3-4 years old.

hmmm they may be doing this so they can sell more, since this will deffintly cost money, and allow more people to get the game? Who knows this could just be nothing, but still all of this happening this month, strange.

just bought myself a 5 copy of d2 now i got 5 cd keys of lod and 4 classic lol (lost my 7 copy's of lod cd's had to buy a new one........
