A rep from Blizzard just sent me notice that there would be no more announcements at BlizzCon tomorrow (Saturday), so for those of you (ie: all of you) who were hoping that this would be the day that Diablo 3 was finally confirmed, I'm sorry to inform you that you'll have to continue to wait. We all know that it's eventually coming, but the waiting for the official confirmation of the third game along with some idea of what it will be like is a really hard thing to wait for. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I figured it would be best to tell you about this now rather than have you guys waiting around all day Saturday hoping that we'd hear more about Diablo 3. Thanks for sticking with us though... Blizzard is listening to us and sooner or later (ok, later) Diablo 3 will become a reality.
In other Blizzard-related news, the rep just sent me word that our own Umaro participated in the first-ever Starcraft II tournament with Loc Teinh (from w3roc.com) on his team and won in the first round, but they were unfortunately defeated in round 2 by TeamLiquid. The overall winner of the tournament was TeamLiquid who were then given the opportunity to play Karune and Stephen Chang from the eSports team. TeamLiquid wasn't able to defeat them though. Unfortunately there's no replay video footage from this tournament, but maybe that will change later on.
More news as it becomes available.
Sad Diablo indeed. (thanks to Zabadak for sharing this image with us)
As already stated, there are three different and very specific teams.
A MMO team, a RTS team, and Team 3. Seeing as how Team 3's work has not been announced, it seems only fair to assume that the RTS team made SC2, and that the MMO team worked on all things WoW. That leaves up Team 3 for our beloved D3 goodness.
carloseus is right. i dont have WoW but i dont talk shit because i dont have it, or dont like it. blizzard can't impress everyone at one time. be more patient. diablo 3 will come, sooner or later. (now as for the jew thing, that is completely uncalled for.)

ahh thats the one... burning crusade.. the green thing ... early 2007
I mean of blizzard says 3 things in 2007.. then these are the 3 things... things change.. this is what they were trying to say. mark my words.. you can procrastinate for months if youd like
Something is really really really suspicous here. Why did they just buy a ton of servers, delete d3 wikepedia, have job listings, have team 3, anouncing another project, Have d3 sites directed to blizzard.com, and alot more things? Hmmmmm This is some bad MUSHU
Btw The wind woot Cubs for the win!@!! And diablo...
Diablo 3 has to be in devolpment...blizzards not stupid they are just hyping everyone up about it by doing all this stuff like the job postings, the redirecting, everything! iam really really exicited for the announcement...fourms are going to expolde on that day:D

and even if ne of that stuff was recent that would mean that d3 would be a mmorpg and blizz wouldent want that...they would lose a lot of customers from WoW..it wouldent make sense seeing as how they just announced the wrath of the lytch king

Their not losing customers from "Blizzard" though. Just because they may lose some subscriptions to World of Warcraft it doesn't mean that Blizzard and Vivindi (is that there name?) would be losing money. In fact it's sometimes good to have competion with yourself within the same company. It will generate more money and could bring other people from other games over.
Say people from Guild Wars that enjoyed playing Diablo but didn't like the cartoon characters of World of Warcraft could be pulled into Diablo 3 or the people that are waiting on Warhammer or Age of Conan that want a darker atmosphere to their gamming, they would come to play a new Diablo game I'm sure of it.
But to say that Blizzard would lose customers is kinda bunk. In no way would they lose money, only that they would most likely generate more. I enjoy playing world of warcraft and if a new diablo game came out I would pay to get it and if it's subscription I'm sure that I would pay monthly to play it as well. I'm a 100% sure that I'm not the only one with this thought.
I`m sad like all of you that this Blizzard Convention didn`t anounced the game, but i`m not worried. The game will be anounced soon
I really enjoyed the video with Diablo music thanks for that link
What i like to say is that when i started to read that forum i was very happy that will hear oppinions from real Diablo fans and it was great for a while but what i have read that night here can`t belive it and i think you know what i`m talking about.
I`m not a writer on forums but i read a lot... sad to say that you have lost me and maybe a lot of other people who are Diablo fans.
Good luck with the forum. And bye bye to all the nice people here.
Your leaving the forums? Im sorry to hear that. I think i speak for alot of people when i say, if you ever decide to come back, you will be welcomed with open arms. I for one am always interested in talking and hearing the opinions of fellow Diablo fans.

The First WoW:Expansion was released in 2007 not announced ^^

Maybe Dungeon Siege 3 is in the works.

It could very possibly be:
WoW team
Starcraft 2 team
Warcraft 4 team
I believe the "3" is irrelevant.
I'll eat my words if it's been official.
Omg how dumb can you get?!
Burning Crusade was ANNOUCED last year...
Btw The wind woot Cubs for the win!@!! And diablo...
it was deleted like half a year ago
Again... Announcements/Releases In 2006 thy don't know exactly how this will turn out. What they basicaly meant was "3 major things".
Thoes are your 3 for 2007 what they were referring too.

Carloseus, I'm going to go to that poll and vote that you are mean, I didn't know at the time.
And the guy that's leaving, we will hope to see you come back (except Carlos of course).
