Here is some news for all the people that continue to say there will be no Diablo 3 because the people behind the original Diablo's have left blizzard.


"The team behind Diablo I and II is looking for an artist specializing in the creation of user interface art. This artist will create such things as in-game background screens, UI containers/borders, item icons, character portraits, etc. The ideal candidate has strong painting skills, the ability to adapt their style, and feels comfortable working in a team environment."

Looks like Blizzard has a Diablo team after all, isn't it weird for a company that is only focusing on World of Warcraft is hiring for other developements =)

There's been a lot of this stuff popping up. But as likely as it sounds, there is always the slight chance that it isn't in the making and they're making some sort of side-project. But I like to believe it's Diablo 3 :D

Because they want to save the hype for as late as possible. So Diablo 3 doesn't become old news and then at release more people buy it.

We are basically doing the advertising for them! It's free publicity and it makes the release of D3 even bigger because we've been waiting so long!

they said they wont announce any of their coming games before WoW expansion is released. For marketings sake :P
expect some news after Burning Crusade is out. and thats gonna be about November-December.

The "start" for a game can't be noted until there's a known "game". And to answer your second question, I have another question. I don't know. Who told you?

they said "fall 2006" and Blizzard is known for taking their time. So its most likely to be released about Christmas (WoW Burning Crusade). They're most likely to say which games they're working on right after.

They'll want to meet the Christmas deadline, since that would boost their sales, so I think they're trying their best to finish it fast, to prevent delays.

hmmmm....I'd love to work as an artist for Blizz, too bad I can't paint for shit....well I suppose I'd even work as a tea boy for blizzard, the ultimate dedication^^
