A very sad day for beta players, but what it means for release is great! May 15th is drawing ever closer.

Character Wipe & Patch 17

We're currently in the process of preparing the next beta patch for release. As part of this patch, we'll be wiping all characters. Items, auctions, artisans, followers, and friends lists will also be wiped, and your Beta Buck balance will be reset to 50.
While we do not have a precise ETA for when Beta Patch 17 will go live, we expect downtime to deploy the patch to be minimal. Please stay tuned to this thread for updates.

so 15 days to finish the sin wars books and hopefully develop some leet skills in tribes ascend.

I wasn't able to find a free one but then I spent all of 10m on google and the PoE forums looking. You can "buy" one by going to the official site and basically donating 10.00 to their Kickstarter. You get 100 pts for their microtransactions (they said they will only be selling cosmetic stuff, extra stash space, and more char slots -- which by the way is already HUGE at 4 very large tabs). The game itself will be F2P when it comes out. Levelling has not been grindy at all and frankly they have an absolutely ingenious potion system.
