Great finds, you guys! Thanks!
I usually enjoy some good old heavy metal for my play sessions.
Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Dio/Rainbow, Judas Priest, Motorhead, AC/DC, etc. :))
Amen to that!Quote from Snaps
Hate the idea. It literally removes any choice the player has over which mode to play.
I don't have the time, or the will to remake characters from a clean slate, because honestly Diablo 3 is NOT a character building game. I do not want more than one WD, Wizz, Barb etc. The only choice in building a character is gear, and even then it's luck over choice.
This decision really is an awful one. Myself and everyone I know played D2 ladder, guess why that was? Because there was no choice. Want the best loot in a loot finding game? Then play ladder.
I cannot fathom why on earth they would make all the cool new legendaries and only let players in a certain mode have access to them.
I really think they could go very wrong with this decision. I mean, the game is in a great spot at the moment - literally the only thing they could do to improve is the tiered rifts system, add more legendaries/sets and more classes, monsters/tile-sets. Done.
Sure, make a ladder for those who want to delete their characters every X months, let them race each other, let them enjoy their fresh start. That's what ladder players enjoy. Give them some banner rewards like Hardcore gets, but that's all.
What annoys me the most is that they release this bullshit decision after they release RoS. If this was one of the features of RoS at lauch, I simply wouldn't have bothered buying it.
I second you, sir.Quote from Casmiel616
Won't prepare at all. I will take a day off and play through Act 1-5 selffound and alone. Nice and slow, I'm going to listen to all the new dialogue and lore. If I haven't reached 70 by the end of A5, I'm going to do some bounties I guess.
It would be awesome if Cain somehow returns to the land of the living. He is one of the main characters in Diablo franchise, so I think it is unfair to kill him in so dishonourable fashion. IMHO.Quote from Bleu42
...There's a place in the lore called the void. It's supposed to be where all souls, good an evil, go to when they die. It's also supposed to be inescapable (Lillith, the mother of the nephalem, was sent there), but she found a way to escape (if I've got my lore right). And since that's where Leah and Cain's souls are as well, it *is* plausable we can save them...
I don't know to be honest... I started my first character in Americas server (accidentally) and at that time those 26 levels I reached that night seemed to much to loose by switching back to Europe server... I am casual D3 player so now there is just three lvl60 characters and somewhere around 60-70 levels worth paragon experience. By today's standards, when people manages to reach paragon lvl100 from zero in a few days it looks kind a funny...Quote from Elendiro
Actually, I'm gonna ask why...did you play on the Americas? 200+ ping is not a good game experience...
I just pre-ordered RoS and I am extremely exited about it. I have one question though. I didn't manager to find anything on this topic on official forums so I will ask here. Will "account wide Paragon experience" transfer from one server / region to another? Since it is called "account wide"... Or am I missing something? And yes, I know that you can not transfer your character or items between different servers. Since release of vanilla D3 I started to play in The Americas server while living in Europe (don't ask why). Now when 2.0.1 Patch and RoS were announced many of my friends returned to this game once again but all of them are in Europe server.
I am sorry if I missed something and this question was already answered by the "blues".
Yes, same here. I started (my very first) PTR account two hours ago and after those two hours of excitement I was disconnected. Error_33 popped up a.k.a. "Server Maintenance". Any of you (PTR Veterans) know for how long can this be?Quote from dallten
Anyone else getting the "Servers Down" message when logging in? At the exact moment i sat down to start playing the PTR for the first time, i got this message, after queueing for nearly 60mins. God damnit.
That video is hilarious! Great work!
Amen! We should be grateful for new content, not evermore pushing for more and more...I actually don't even understand why people keep asking for "content" for DIII. You have no sub to pay, no in game cash shop, nothing. It's a pure standard old school game. You buy the box you have a game, you buy the expansion you have more of this game.
Why people expect Blizzard to constantly give them "content" for free ? I really don't understand...
