posted a message on QoL Request - Auto pickup ALL materials?

Basically the title says it all.. we auto pick up gold and blood shards why can't that extend to yellow, white, blue, orange materials also?

Gems I guess I can understand need to be looted because they are a physical item still but other materials are essentially currency items now.

    Thoughts?

Yes mate.. If there are 5 'ideal' passives for your build it doesn;t matter which one you get on the ammy.

    Just pick the other 4.

posted a message on Help! What am I doing wrong with my ET build?

    Hey guys,

I think I have pretty good gear but I just can't seem to progress in GRs. Im currently stuck @69 and failing 70 every time.

(If you look at my profile, ignore the Wicked Wind, it was a test in a moment of despair).

I just keep running out of Arcane Power. I tried shooting ETs slower. I try to aim for the corners/walls to make them stick.

I tried Power Hungry (currently still equipped but is usually Unwavering Will). I tried more CDR and Diamond Skin: Prism.

    Nothing seems to help!

I realise it might be difficult to gauge what I'm doing wrong without some gameplay but from a gearing perspective, what've I done wrong?

posted a message on Way to encourage build diversity?

Do you guys think we would see more build diversity if there wasn't such gaping discrepancies on the damage skill runes do and the element of the rune?

I don;t think skill runes should change the damage that a skill does or the element of damage for a couple of reasons.

    1) It is boring and not very creative.

    2) Forces certain decisions because why would you use the skill that does less damage.

    3) Forces combinations of skills because they share the element.

What if the runes only changed the way the skill functioned and you could select whatever element you wanted for the rune?

Eg: I want a Magic Missile that splits into 3 and is Cold.

Blizzard might have to go back and rework or reinvent a few of the runes that "Your attack now does +233% damage instead of 155%".

They'd also maybe have to have 4 color variations (4 elements per class) on each skill rune.

That's the hard part for them to work through.

But it would allow us to be much more creative in our building options I think.

posted a message on Bloodshard - quality of life

Account wide access to things like Blood Shards and such are brilliant but you're right quality of life improvement needed.

While they are at it, can gems please be a 'buff' that is only capable of being equipped if your gear has the socket to allow it?

It is so annoying logging in and out of characters to swap gems around!

I also think (since I'm now on a roll) that the Mystic should have the Dye system merged with Transmogs.

Bring her a Dye and some mats (or just make them available ffs) and you can select the appearance AND the colour of the item in one go.

It is a pain in the arse jumping from town to town to get the dyes for that look you've got in mind. QoL.

posted a message on Followers QoL enhancements ideas

    Hey guys,

    I mainly play this game solo and am continually frustrated with the followers system so thought I would float a couple ideas with you;

IDEA 1) Follower health: Just make it so that they cannot be killed. This will open up some options for follower uniques because they are absolutely useless unless you have the 'Your follower cannot die' item.

IDEA 2) I would make it so that they are able to go and pick up progress globes, gold and other crap that I don't want to go out my way to collect.

They are perfectly able to boost to godlike movespeeds to keep up with Crusader horse and other movement skills.. let them boost off to collect the crap and then come back to my side with minimal fuss. I would like to also specify the TYPES of items they go and gather for me.

Eg: Pick up all white, yellow, blue and orange materials and rare 1 handed swords.

It is OK that they do no damage at all really but I would like to have some extra utility added to them.

posted a message on Losing steam for Season 4

    Couldn't care less for leaderboards.

I play pretty regularly (probably 5-10 hours a week) and I just muddle through at my own pace.

Most of the time I just play solo because I hate the clutter of everyones spell effects and/or spending my whole time chasing after a dashing monk or WW barbarian.

TL:DR - Play your own way.

posted a message on Easy way to get good ancient barb weapons.

    Hey guys,

I'm not sure if I'm the first to find this (probably not) but thought I'd share what I found yesterday.

Craft a Rare 2handed mighty weapon. (Can also use 1handed but harder because there are 2 BulKathos weapons).

Chuck it in to the Cube and use the recipe to turn Rare into a Leg.

    Easy.

If you have enough mats to rinse:repeat you will get an ancient eventually.

Managed to craft this beauty after maybe 20 tries.

    Last one I promise..

Not that you would.. but.. theoretically could you use F+R with no Primary skill and (though gimping yourself) just have the 50% buff from using Secondary skill?

My maths is strong as all fuck.

    Thank you.

    What about this part?

*My understanding* is, your left click skill buffs your damage when using right click skills by +50%

And if you use the right hand skill your left skill +50%.

What I mean by that is, do they get added together? Or..

Does the Primary skill buff Secondary skill.

And Secondary skill buff primary only.

I've decided to go with the F+R but can someone explain F+R to me?

*My understanding* is, your left click skill buffs your damage when using right click skills by +50%

And if you use the right hand skill your left skill +50%.

That's been how I've observed it but I'm more than happy to be proven wrong.

Also where does the +125% come in? Wouldn't it be 50+50=100 max?
