The reason I'm disappointed with no ladder talk compared to pvp is because ladder was in a way shown in one of the new videos. In the feature video they released, the season icon (leaf) was displayed alongside the Hardcore icon in the "clans" portion of the video where the UI was shown. Also in the datamine from Rob the character creation screen has a seasonal hero checkbox on the character creation screen.

The fact that the ladder icon was shown in the new feature video in the clan ui, even though it was just an icon should lead to mean that there's at least SOMETHING that's been done with ladder development thus far and should have been shared, even if it was in an early stage.

Hey Jaetch was there any new info on Nephalem Trials? It was mentioned at Gamescon during Athene's interview with Josh, something along the lines of random portals spawning and facing waves of mobs and being rewarded Resplendant chests depending on how well you do I think. Starting to think it got scraped since there's been absolutely zero mention of it as far as I know.

It seems Nephalem Trials got scraped? Hasn't been mentioned at Blizzcon as far as I know, only got talked about att Gamescon during Athene's interview with Josh because Josh forgot to mention it to the audience...was looking forward to that feature tbh, seemed like it could be challenging.

Pretty sure Nephalem Rifts are portals found randomly throughout the game and when you enter them you fight waves of mobs and get Resplendant chests depending on how good you do or something, pretty sure it was never related to bounties.

Anyways hopefully this gets cleared up in today's panels.

Has there been any info revealed about this yet? I would've thought it would be featured in that feature video alongside Neph Rifts/Mystic/Bounties/Adventure mode. I hope it didn't get scraped, seemed to bring some challenge.

Nephalem trials and Nephalem Rifts are two completely different things btw.

Open Beta in less than 2 months seems like a dream considering nothing has been said about pre xpac patch and if its going on PTR first.

Only way this seems likely is if they don't need to put pre xpac patch in ptr and just have players test it using ROS beta client during Open Beta. Even than it seems a bit far fetched, at least in my opinion. Can always hope though !
