posted a message on Rainbow Goblins - Cosmetic Wings

I think you should get into the mindset of sometimes just running around killing elites, and maybe do some bounties. Besides, much more interesting than simply running the same location over and over again. Would make sense to chose a decent build but one that lets you just speed through, like the chicken WD, if it's still a thing.

But if doing the same run isn't an issue, I think all the ones people recommended above make sense, as they are predictable and rarely bother your mojo!

There is no big announcement for Diablo left, so ragging against bitching is irrelevant. If they had any, this would have been the time to let us know, build the hype and crash the internet!

They seem more or less the same in terms of, ahem, squishyness. However it does seem at least for now, that Wizards have more builds to choose from. If you are not so hard bent on Intel chars, than pretty much any other will do much better. I would first go and play some range classes to make my transition as smooth as possible, like Demon Hunters. But to give a decent answer we first need to know what you plan to get out of them, either you want to play as casual as possible or as efficient as possible. Because believe it or not, not all classes/builds can manage both!

posted a message on Destiny is ripping players off!

Well he did post it in the correct section, it's weird however because most of us (at least I for one) don't know the references, since we don't play the game and he had to create an account just to push this video here, which is a dick move. But anyway, that's why there are mods around.

posted a message on bring 2.4 now pls blizzard!!!

The game is far from finished, and they failed big time @ release, even they admit it!

Saying the patches are free and we should not complain is idiotic since the multiplayer version of this game sucks beyond words. Sure, if you consider the storyline as being the whole game or at least what matters the most, then yes, you payed for it and now you can't ask for more, but if they made it online only with strong emphasis on competitive multiplayer, which now we call the Adventure Mode, then they can't ask you for money to fix something they released incomplete or broke as hell!

That's actually the drama behind it all. The story is good and the game performs well in that regard, the problem with Adventure Mode and competitive multiplayer is that they barely started working on it! Not long ago having a set on you meant you really don't want to do any killing, and it took them years to figure it out!

Also, give up the discussions about Blizzard losing money by working on the game for "free". I made a post here a while back making a general math exercise and found out that they got a shitload of cash from selling D3 and it's expansion, so much actually that they can live out of it for tens of years even if they didn't had the other games! So stop this useless rant and stop caring so much about a huge company that bathes in gold! Really now, what's this urge to defend them? You can't critique a game you love because people like you guys are oblivious to what's going on with the company making these very important discussions stray too far from what's important! I said before and I'll say it again, mods should immediately edit and erase any reply that takes this incredibly stupid and uneducated approach and give warnings to users who do it! It's a forum crime worst that going

on incredibly offensive racist rants in my book!

posted a message on So we must play seasons to gain more Stash space?

I believe the design idea behind it is that once you roll a seasonal ton, all that gear is a burden on your ns shard, therefore you have the option of also "keeping" your seasonal stash, effectively doubling your stash tabs on NS. That aside, because it's reasonable to introduce some kind of quest for rewarding these tabs, I am also unclear to the actual incremental behind it. Can we possibly get all 5 tabs (4 to be specific since we already know the first one is guaranteed) with a single seasonal journey or do we have to wait until the next season to get another tab. Either this fell through the cracks and it's another fail on their part (failing to explain in a proper manner so that each idiot can easily comprehend) or they really want to keep us in the dark. None of which makes sense since we have been waiting for this the most. Hopefully some blue post/tweet can clarify this if it's not already done.

There are lost of discussion on the official forum about it, and opinions are mixed. This is my take on it:

Once the feature goes live (which will most likely be between seasons) you will be able to purchase a second stash tab. The first stash tab of the second stash is automatically given when the purchase is made. After that, all the remaining 4 tabs will be obtain by completing (at some level) your seasonal journey, but limited by 1 tab per season, and therefore per unique seasonal journey.

Season 5 (first season after 2.4 hits live) - 7 Tabs (1 for gold and 1 from your S5 seasonal journey)

    Season 6 - 8 tabs

    Season 7 - 9 tabs

    Season 8 - 10 tabs

After the 10 tabs limit is reached, all of them will be unlocked via the same mechanic the first 5 are right now when a new season starts, meaning that you can use gold or alternatively the 7 through 10 will automatically unlock up the the tab you have unlocked previously for free once the new stash is purchased with ingame gold. Either way, we have to ignore people claiming that every future season you have to go from the start and unlock the tabs again, because that defeats logic since you can only unlock one tab per season, which in turn means you will never get all of them within one season since the next season brings you back where you started. This will be a global account reward all characters (as long as they are in the same mod soft/hc) can benefit from. Since you can unlock a tab each season from now one to a maximum of 10, it doesn't matter if you fail to get one in a season, since you can easily get it when the next one starts. So you could in theory only get your final stash tab (10) in season 20 if you feel like it. Hope this clarifies things a little, as long as my logic is not somewhat idiotic.

I guess the question is: can they improve Diablo 3 within Diablo 3?

Or, would it be easier to close the chapter on D3 and move onto Diablo 4?

Diablo 3 is hugely popular, one good indication of it is he fact we are still talking about it and quite often. This forum attracts lots of viewers, and you can see that by checking the views on topics. There are tons of popular Diablo 3 sites, many of which cater to a certain language/area. I will not be surprised that at one point Diablo will go over a 5 Million daily users figure once the Chinese version really takes off and the numbers are made public.
That being said, the game is far from dead, it's only just started developing into a true Diablo success story. If you look further back towards Vanilla, the game had serious issues and looked completely different. Now lots of those issues were solved, and many were introduced. A Diablo IV game is not really an option right now, because this one is yet to be finished. Most likely a new D3 expansion. Starting to design a new game in the series so soon after the last one had a major update, makes no sense from a business perspective before anything else. It will simply be the same game with different content, which require new zones, new animations, new characters, tons of design, which ultimately is in vain, since players will feel confused and angered about this move.
But I presume a simple mind will use the old 1.0 Logic most people on this forum seem to still employ, and claim Diablo IV will be made soon, even though the same backwards and limited logic dictates that if the 3'rd one came TWELVE FUC*ING years after the second one, we could wait another 10 to see a forth, MINIMUM! The setting is set for a second XP, we know all bosses are once again freed to take form and test us again, if necessary, and that Adria already promised us a new meeting with Diablo, preferably the male form we see in Heroes of the Storm, which is also a hint we cannot ignore. Either way the game is far from completed and even farther from being polished, so any idiotic discussion about 10 more Diablo games coming in 2016-2017 should be kept for ourselves and not be posted on forums where everyone can see them and make fun of us, k?!

the only way this will get fixed is if/when blizz can release the next expansion pack for this game to increase revenue, because this is a server issue, in that the servers they are using are clearly incapable of handling the loads they are witnessing, and couple that with the fact that this lag is caused by things they have known about for months now, sadly i can't see any major fixes coming any time soon.

Server hardware is relatively cheap, and likely not the issue at all. How the server handles calculations or other coding is the likely culprit, and much harder/more expensive to fix.

It's like talking to a rock, they actually believe game developers are stupid enough to NOT pay attention to these stuff, especially in a online ONLY game. These people need to be beaten in the head with the same rock they identify with. Further more they always, ALWAYS say we need to give them more money when they don't even ask for it. It simply breaks any reason whatsoever and I strongly support the idea of censoring these idiocies by editing their comments in the near future, or actually making it part of the forum rules and therefore against them to say "We need to give more money to Blizzard!"!

D3 sold 20 mil copies, @ $40 per copy that's $800 mil. Hearthstone brings in $20 mil/month, and in 17 months (doubt that the first year brought in 20 mil per month, but I'll let it slide) we have $340 mil. Granted, Diablo III it's a more expensive game, has a bigger team, but we also didn't added up the AH profit, which I presume closes up to the sales made in Hearthstone, so D3 is a big whale for Blizzard, that's for sure. WoW makes a lot more, and yet they still make time consuming expensive triple A games that vary in how much money they bring in, so comparing them from a profit stance of view makes no sense whatsoever. Some games will always pull in more money than others, because some genres automatically take in more customers/players. Since D3 is the tenth best selling games of all times, with around 30 mil copies sold across platforms, it's safe to assume that as long as they make some profit on it, they will continue to develop and improve it, just because the pressure is so great to do so. We also know from the Chinese version that some kind of micro transaction system is tested and implemented into the game, and the game itself is made with this in mind. Notice the WoW like limitations, like character slots, stash space (which is too small for them to ignore it UNLESS it will be a pay option, therefore they avoid talking about it until then) and customization/cosmetics options that already exist in the game, makes it at least 50% there in terms of micro transaction implementation.

Also, why the hell do you guys even feel so butthurt that they won't announce an expansion at a Blizzcon, when Reaper of Souls was announced at Gamescom 2013 when the same year held Blizzcon 2013?! At worst this means they still haven't started working on it, which I highly doubt, at best next year they will reveal it. Also, the original game was announced at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in Paris, so no major part of this game so far was announced at their Blizzcon Conventions. This is most likely because Diablo is something they feel fits well the most in Europe, and they chose to come here to announce it.

Anyway we'll wait and see if something major is revealed next month.
