    Greetings,


    I was wondering if anyone knew how challenge rifts will work when the new season starts.


    Will i be able to do the chaLlenge rift today, and then keep the bag until i make a seasonal character?


    Will you be able to make a seasonal level 1 character on day of season, and then immediately do the challenge rift to get the reward bag on my seasonal hero?


    If i do the challenge rift today, will i still be able to do the challenge rift for my seasonal hero on thursday?

    I think a lot of problems would be resolved if blizzard just removed regular legendaries. keep ancient drop rates, all legs are still ancient. regular legendaries make finding the gear for your build too easy.

    That's why i make two of my pusher characters. i make my Doc at begining of season. get my sets. augment about level 70 gems on him and then push a bit. from that point on, all my upgrades stay in my stash. I then level gems for augment on my upgrades (about 90 or so) and keep them in stash. Then when i die to disconnect or its time for end of season, i take out my better gear and push leaderboards (top 10 WD in season 5 and 6). Play smarter, not harder.

    it may make locust swarm do more dmg... but you're missing the point. No matter what set bonus you use, Locust swarm will never be an elite killer. locust swarm is just for trash. LoN buffs Pets AND swarm. U need something to kill elites... thus LoN being the better option.

    I play primarily WD. I was thinking of making an LTK monk and was looking thought the site for LTK builds but couldnt find any for patch 2.4 or 2.4.1. Im sure there is a version of this build that can do t10.


    Does any monks have suggestions for LTK builds?

    The reply before mine is quite critical and not really correct. Confidence ritual will give u a 25% multiplicative dmg buff to enemies within 25 yards ( as stated). This works on locust swarm in the same way it applies to anything else. The locust swarm will do 25% more dmg to enemies who are affected by your locust swarm and also within 25 yards of your character.


    Zei's works in a similar way. The further away you run from your enemies, the more damage the zei stone will do. It is updated in real time, so each tick will do more dmg.


    Although locust swarm builds can be quite hard to gear for, arachry is NOT the better option. I play hardcore. rank 9 WD. I have a fully augmented LoN Poison locust speed farmer using Thing of the deep. It is by far my favorite build. Consistantly clearing gr 45s in 1 minute 30 seconds. The key distinction here is running a gem of toxin with poison rolls on gear. The toxin's dmg is quite good. The reason Arachyr can't compete is because your pets do no dmg,and you will not be able to effeciantly kill elites.

    Does anyone know if Convention of elements is a seperate multiplier or if it takes into account the elemental dmg that is rolled on your gear (i.e when your fire rotation comes around does it combined with the fire thats on your gear? or does the ele dmg and coe get mutliplied seperately?)

    honestly... if you feel this way, i recommend playing hardcore. It's a lot more challenging and the progression is slower. also, when you die...you can complain about how much is sucks to caldesan the gear for your LoN build that you didnt get to push solo with yet cuz you died in a group game.

    I was thinking that blizzard should put a crystal in the ubers chambers so that you can just teleport back to the room with the portals. instead of using a townportal and running a 5k sprint.


    i know it's not a huge thing but i think it;s a huge quality of life improvement when you're doing 5-10 sets of ubers at a time. anyone else have an opinion?
