When you use 2h does this build really requires guardians path. For spirit generation works cripling wave rising tide also well.Quote from Zorgmeister
Finally, i have tested this build with a 2h skorn with life on hit, it works almost just as good, and funny enough it improves the DPS, however it's riskier since the atack speed is so much lower that the spirit regen makes you unable to spam the bell + palm as often as dual wielding.

My first monk uses the implosion+LTK combo. But I feel that this works best with sweeping wind because implosion also pulls monsters in range of sweeping wind. This then depends on the inna set and the goal of my second monk was not depending on inna or One With Everything, allowing far more gearing options.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
Explosive light also has the advantage of damaging quite the entire screen, without requiring implosion. When you don't pull everything with implosion do you require less healing andtoughness.

Thanks for your build OP. I wanted my second monk to not depent on Inna's set(I feel it traps you somewhat gearwise). So am glad to see a build without Sweeping Wind. Here is my variation of the build:Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
This second monk just hit level 60 so his gear is limited:
I don't need the stun at the level I play on now, I instead took the damage rune.

You're right, it's almost like....we have different people with different opinions. So weird......
Yet each time do you get the impression on the forums that the majority is complaining, so I either do mainly people who want to complain post or are the same people complaining about x who where before complaining about lack of x.

The AH was the most complained thing about before it's closure was announcedPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Now is it the closure of the AH and related BOA
When legendaries are very rare after release are the forums filled with complains about them
When legendaries are common in ros beta are the forums filled with complains about them
When legendaries are very weak after release do people complain
When legendaries are stronger after patch do people complain they are not awesome enough
When some legendaries become godlike in ros do people complain
When CM and WW dominate the game do people complain
When those overpowerd builds are removed do people complain
I believe that we had many valid reasons to complain after release, but now with RoS seems quite everything most people orginially complained about to be fixed(or is has been fixed by a prior patch, like how paragon fixed the no leveling in endgame complain).
But complaining has became a habit, many people are set on hating blizzard and complaining about anything they do. At this stage do I wonder whatever blizzard can do anything to stop the massive complaining: I think they can't, complaining is the new diablo 3 gameplay for many, they are addicted.

A simple fix would be that only 1 toad of each cast seeks a given target. So when you cast plague of toads when fighting one monster seeks one toad that monster and are the rest random as usual, but when you are fighting six monsters shall all six monster seek a different monster.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I hope that current CB doesn't survive beta. A potential DPS stat that could work is a stats that gives more DPS to slow attacks, like a stat "focused hit" that increases DPS by % only the first time you hit a monster each 2 seconds. This would make 2h builds who focus on slow big attacks viable, a tiny individual attack of high APS builds would barely notice this buff, but a huge 2h attack would be buffed a lot.

I'd consider replacing Frost nova with teleport and UA with Illusionist. That should give somewhat better survivability since frost nova isn't all that useful without CM to refresh it, and teleport is great for a wide variety of situations. Otherwise I'd use Deep Freeze on frost nova to get a crit buff.
Yes teleport with fracture rune is more very useful for that build, thanks

I already have a CM wizard and I don't like archon so i wanted to try something different. This build uses the synergy between 3 skills: arcane torrent disruption(+15%arcane), blizzard(+20% with cold blooded) and arcane hydra.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
You begin with casting blizzard between you and the monsters, then arcane hydra and after that disruption until everything is death. Blizzard and hyrda are recast when needed.
For passives is cold blooded a given, I also took Astral Presence because I sometimes run out of arcane power but some arcane on crit could also solve this. Unstable Anomaly is to survive DPS spikes.
Here is the build:

I just thought of another reason why removing the AH is good: With an AH shall you very quickly get "average" gear and shall advancement beyond that be extremely slow because:Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Below average gear shall have more supply then demand: prices have to drop and shall keep dropping
Above average gear shall have more demand then supply: prices have to raise and shall keep raising
What is "average" gear shall also very slowly improve over time, but not fast enough to be satisfying.
Self found has a more softer curve, it takes much longer to get average gear but the curve raises softer after this.

Trade needs to be painful. It's the best way to improve the game.
A great post, this is indeed the reason why the AH needs to be removed.
When people get scammed on third party sites should they get the kind of consumer service they deserve: A permanent ban from battle.net and the removal of all their blizzard CD keys.
A game based around self found is not by definition easy, diablo 2 was far harder then diablo 3 in my opinion, yet had it more satisfying drops.
I would even go further: Items can only be traded for 30 mins after they drop, but the removal of the AH and the prime evil the RMAH is already enough for me.
