posted a message on Idea: Kanai's Cube Expansion (Rifts)

Complaining about ripping POE off is like complaining Burger King is ripping McDonald's off.

D3 desperately needs more depth. Problem is the devs are to stubborn to realize it.

i made a similar post some time ago, http://www.diablofans.com/forums/diablo-iii-general-forums/diablo-iii-general-discussion/103793-concept-w-pics-improving-the-nephalem-rift-game

i think your idea puts a lot of depth into the game. It needs more tuning but as a basic idea it sounds like a lot of fun.

I guess you're implying that you can't get on the PTR on Mac.

ptr is currently not available for Mac users. Will be fixed in the next PTR build (hopefully)

posted a message on Future of gold

Imo gold is currently useless and should be removed or made an attractive, farmable option. Currency in the form of materials is the way to go, just like in POE, though.

Edit: Felt like expanding a bit.

Gold has currently no value since you can easily get billions of it.

For enchanting gold makes no sense in the "end game" since you have an abundance of it. The only thing that matters is mats, which you eventually will run out of if not farmed.

Gear breaks from damage taken and deaths, and cost to repair also gets redundant after hitting 70, since gold is so easy attainable by just playing the game (don't need to farm it specifically).

Tone down the gold aquisition or remove it entirley.

Keep mat aquisition at current level.

As long as the enemies are affeced by the knockback/knockup effect then yes.

The damage bonus from Strongarms is multiplicative.

This thread is a perfect example of how so many people don't approach PTR as intended.

    This.

Blizzard should put a disclaimer when you log on to the game saying anything can happen on the PTR, basically. Not that it would help, lol.

PTR is a mindset boys, anything can happen and everything is subject to change. As long as you're aware of that, PTR is going to be a much more bearable testing period for you.

If nobody is creating threads like this, what the hell are you going to do? Seems like you comment on all of them. :)

You guys got trolled, he didn't get banned. He showed a email of an account closure email, but the email stated RMAH items would be canceled meaning the email was from vanilla D3 when RMAH was still open.

Step 1. Remove tinfoil from head.

    Step 2. Experience clarity.

Edit: E-mail containing notes about RMAH is most likeley overseen from Blizzard as they don't bring out the banhammer that often in the wonderful world of D3. Especially permabans.

"Because you have no balls, son."

Guys, you either choose to abuse, or not. You either choose to care about people abusing, or not. I choose both of the latter. I don't get why everyone thinks what other people do affect their personal gameplay?

Grow up kids. Calling out people is hardly a necessity. Think about all the content Cookie brought to us. He's done more for this game and community than most of us.

Isn't Pain Enhancer kind of negligable at higher GRs or is the damage still substantial? I'm not sure if I'd want the attackspeed either, could potentially lead to fury shortage. Defensive gems seem to be unnecessary, I wonder if Bane of the Powerful / Toxic gem would lead to more DPS than Pain Enhancer.

Well, Pain enhancer deals a percentage of damage based on your weapon damage so it's scaling with your damage therefore there is no such thing as "kind of negligable at higher GRs".

It's doing physical damage so that gets boosted by your soj, bracers and amulet.

Dust devils now scale with attack speed so the ias from PE is probably really good. Might even be better than bott / taeguk but i doubt it. I think it's safe to say that PE is a solid 3rd gem. I need to test how attack speed scales with dust devils though so don't take my word for it.

BOP is good but in a perfect rift you don't even have elites so the bop uptime won't be that high in an ideal rift anyway so i don't know.

Also, more ias will not cause you to run out of fury if you are running the ancient's fury rune on cota.

Scaling solved. Nubtro has again helped us with all our barbaric needs!

believe the chance at a ancient is always 10%, but with the lower drop rate of legs it also becomes less frequent you'll see a ancient item. I'd stick with a torment level you can farm quickly, still a good chance to get set items and i assume you are doing rifts mostly. So more blood shards to get the pieces you need.

Most of the time when you complete the set you can jump right into t6 :)

I think that's wrong. Items have a 10% chance on t6 to be ancient. Below T6, the chance is lowered.
