posted a message on Kanai's Cube errors on Xbox One? Cannot extract legendary powers and other errors

not all legendaries can be extracted into the cube. crafted legendaries for example cannot be extracted

In general crafted legendaries are completely useless these days. You should aim for finding legendaries, not crafting them at the blacksmith

Here's a thought: why not give the game a chance and play real matches against real players instead of doing in hots what you do in d3 already (speedfarm)?

posted a message on LoN Buff (The Forgotten Tale)
    Quote from PheX-go-next

Well if you look at the DH leaderboards for season you will find that LoN FoK build has topped them for five seasons... The 200% LoN buff could cause mayor imbalance for some classes. I think is about buffing skills that are not included in sets or the legendary items for them so they work better with LoN.

I don't think Blizzard will remove archon itself, they spend too much time desining vyr's set. I agree with putting a cap to archon stacks but Vyr's 6pc removes it so the full set bonus is viable. What really seems op is the ring though. Just compare it to Rimeheart and you see that the proc rate/damage is retarded. Time to buff Rimeheart for all other classes and LoN builds.

Statements like these irritate me. I mean, it's so easy to balance things out. If you want to make LoN stronger for many builds, but there are already a few top LoN builds which you don't want to buff, just buff LoN and nerf those few builds specifically. Voila, you have better LoN builds while not having super OP FoK DHs or Bombsaders.

How do you balance Archon? Well, for starters there is an Archon specific set already. Such a set should be the best one for Archon builds. It's ridiculous that a generic set gives more dmg than the specific one. So what you do, is simple.
    1. You change how Vyr works. Similar to other sets, you change the 4pc bonus to be only defensive and the 6pc bonus to be a big dmg buff. Those 1% atkspeed from 4pc bonus, make them 6pc. If you don't get the 4pc dmg buff while playing Tals, there is no reason to play Archon+Manald anymore, because you lose out on so much IAS that your procrate will suffer heavily.
2.Archon gives 6% more dmg for each stack, right? What if it was 1% and Vyr pushes it back to 6%. The reasoning for this would be not giving Non-Vyr builds free 300% increased dmg from the belt. Just reduce the impact Archon does on Non-Vyr and you remove the problem with Archon.

Balancing is super easy if it's only balancing numbers and not different mechanics. Balancing Archon to not be such a fucked up skill that holds all other Wizard builds back, is easy. The difficult part of balancing is when 20+ different skills are used in a synergistic way in groups. But balancing one skill around multiple items and sets is the easiest part of balancing. It's just juggling numbers. You have generic variables which have an impact on multiple builds and you have specific variables which have an impact only on Archon builds. The only reason why Blizzard didn't balance anything, is because they don't give a damn. They don't see balance as a priority in this game.

Maybe sets should stop increasing damage by thousands of percent in the first place.

Blessed Shield with Rolands feels like the definitive version of a Blessed Shield build. It just feels like it was always supposed to work together.

Sadly we all know that Blizzard will eventually fix this bug, instead of doing the cool thing and implement it into the set (making it work with 2pc and 4pc as well).

With the huge APS it should make sense to switch the weapons. Gyrfalcon in cube and the 2handed equipped. But you'd need one with perfect rolls.

Mirinae or Ashbringer won't do much, though. You have no general damage multiplier. Everything buffs only Blessed Shield.

or maybe they will add BS for the set. stay positive :D
ain't nothing good coming out of staying positive. Just disappointment, they already fixed it.

    Quote from Shapookyago-next

I'd expect it will go like this:

S10 in spring: Patch 2.5 with the known QoL stuff

S11 in summer: Patch 2.5.x with minor balancing changes and nothing else

S12 in fall: Patch 2.6 with Necro, Challenge Rifts, new zones, etc.

Blizzcon showing some new stuff they are working on for 2018

S13 in winter: Patch 2.6.x with minor balancing

    I'll just quote myself ;)

So at this point you're pretty much confirmed wrong.

The season 11 login splash has the necro on it in ptr, 99% chance necro along with 2.6 will be launched in July-ish. So that's awesome.
Would be nice. I guess they are forcing it a bit because PoE expansion releases in summer as well.
but they also said the necromancer beta will longer than usual. So we'll have to wait and see

posted a message on Time to buff solo??
    Quote from Bagstonego-next

    1) Area damage. Because area damage is so insanely strong right now, "meta groups" with WDs can clear much higher than any other group composition or solo players.

    2) Monk healing. They nerfed it once after season 4, but it's still a bit too much; I think the numbers should be reduced a bit and Soothing Mist needs to change.

    1. I hate that AD works with all skills. It's just such a stupid design. It's an affix designed to make single target skills better and then they just make it work with all skills.
    2. Yeah his healing is strong, but his damage reduction for the group is the real issue. It's just a joke how broken he is. 55% damage reduce from inner sanctuary. 20% from his passive, 35% dodge from mantra, 40% increased resistances from mantra. 10% from poison gem
It's just ridiculous. They really need to tone down group support. One skill should not double the toughness of all four players. The group meta would change a lot if it was more like this:
Inner Sanctuary: Reduce incoming damage by 50% and 25% for allies.
Mantra of Salvation: Increase your resistances by 20% and your allies resistances by 10%
Dodge Mantra: Increase Dodge chance by 30% and 15% for allies
Resolution: Monsters deal 20% less damage against you and 10% less against allies.
Soothing Mist: Heal for X per Hit. Allies are healed for half the amount.

Same with the barbarian. Give the group only half the benefit. It's still worth it to take group support skills, but it's not ridiculously OP.

I don't really understand why they only nerfed some of the big support skills a few patches ago. That monk zones still gives 55% dmg reduce to everyone standing inside. That's a follower-unity combo just from one skill and you don't have to waste a ring slot for that. It's insane. Honestly, I think every skill should give at most half of its effect to group members.

    Most favorite: Crusader.

I just love this wide variety his skills offer. Too bad Blizzard fucked up his balance, so that many skills are just never used (Heaven's Fury, Phalanx Stampede, Blessed Shield, Condemn, FoH).

    Least favorite: WD

Not a fan of pets, not a fan of his theme.

posted a message on Fastest way to gear up alts?

The fastest way is to play with three friends who play that one class and they give you all the drops (they don't need anymore).

Not everyone has this luxury, though. The 2nd best that comes close to this, is farming with your main class in public games where other players are playing that class and you ask them nicely if you can have the drops they don't need. That's how I quickly got me a wizard this season.

If you get this super lucky public game where all three other players are that one class and willing to give you the drops they don't need, you should stay in the game and use your bloodshards with your main.

posted a message on Primals not dropping for me, is anyone else experiencing this?
    Quote from unnisatgo-next

To ensure bigger chance for drop rate don't identify the loot after it drops. Stash it and when it can fill your inventory then identify them all together.

Actually, you have to go into Act 3 town and run around the center block 3 times clock-wise and then 3 times counterclock-wise, while having your inventory full with unidentified legendaries. THEN, that's very important, you have to drop one item, identify the rest (which will all be garbage) and THEN pick the one item up and it will be guaranteed a primal.

    No bamboozle

I found 2 primals. One pretty quickly after finishing the GR70, another one like 25-30 played hours later

posted a message on Necro skills

Wave of Force looks ridiculous because it was not made to be a spammable ability. I don't understand why Blizzard didn't "just make another animation" (I know it's work) for those runes without a cooldown. I mean even removing the jump and using a generic cast animation would've been better.

What I meant are not the caster animations. But the spells themselves. They are big, flashy and powerful looking. Many necro skills just don't give me these vibes. And those that do, have a high cooldown.

In general they have some really cool ideas, like the bone armor that is a real armor out of bones around you or the skill that makes a copy of yourself which mimics your spell casts. That's basically what we all wanted Mirror Image to be :). Army of the Dead looks really cool. The last runes of Corpse Explosion is creepy as hell.

I just don't dig how most spammy spells look like.
