Hmm...sounds like I need to make a sacrifice to the RNG gods before I play tonight.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I would also check that your background fps isn't set too high. I keep mine pretty low since I'm not concerned about what is happening in those spots.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I've heard mixed reactions in the forums regarding the Crusaders toughness. They don't get the 30% reduction because they are considered a mid-range class. Personally, I wish they had made it a really tanky class in design. All that armor screams come hit me a lot. I know that the shield will make up for some of it, but I was really, really hoping I could make a tank that just stood there and laughed while Elites tried to smack me around.Posted in: Crusader: The Church of Zakarum

Personally, I haven't found any difference on the legendary drop rate versus the difficulty played. I find that, regardless of Torment level, I find a leg around the 1.5-2 hour mark. It's almost like a diminishing internal cooldown within the game. 0 minutes = 0.001 chance to find a leg, 90 min = 60%, 120 = 90% for something like that. I've haven't ever found back-to-back (or within about 15 min of each other) legs either.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Toughness is the big deal here. My rule of thumb for solo farming is this:Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
Toughness = 100,000 x (T-level(1.12^T-level))
Toughness = 100.000 x(T-level(1.12^T-level))
T3 = 100,000 x (3 x (1.12^3) = 421,478.40 Toughness Score
T6 = 100.000 x (6 x (1.12^6) = 1.184.293,61 Toughness Score
For group play, I'll reduce 1.12 to 1.1 or 1.08, depending on the amount of CC and how good the tank is in the group.

Yeah, this is a good idea. I've started to miss a lot of threads recently as well.Posted in: Site Suggestions and Questions

Good point, I haven't had my coffee yet.Quote from Maffia
Some of the legs, the special property is just something that doesn't normally roll on that slot, see Justice Lanter Ring and Doombringer Sword, both have block chance.
Ignore the number, look at the idea.Quote from Thornagol
All of these skills are significantly overpowered. I don't think you could implement the belt with the bank tab because that would be affecting the UI, which is could cause problems for the user in-game.
Overall, they aren't bad ideas. I think that the Girdle of Giants still wont' work with the UI (and the fact that the other classes will complain that they don't get a slot), but maybe something like "Let's you dual-wield 2H weapons. You do not benefit from +movement speed stat, but abilities that affect movement speed will still work."
You will be significantly slower, but you have the benefit of 2x 2H'er stats. Just imagine a Gavel/Unending War/Girdle build (using the skills above).

I would do a boss kill comparison to see if it is worth it. Kill Ghom with the old gear set and build you have, then do it with the tal's set and build for that gear. Then pick whichever is faster or you have more fun with.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
