With AH gone and higher ilvls, are there anything worth stacking ?
-All of things below are complete speculation on my part but hey since we are all waiting lets get some discussion going :)
This is probably one of the safest things to stack since we are gonna need gold for repairs, crafting and maybe even trading, so i would say its safe bet to have some gold.
I'm like 90% sure that blizz is gonna introduce new mat tier for xpac but nonetheless there is probably no harm in getting some stacks of each mat just in-case.
i'm really not sure what they are going to do with gems so far but my gut tells me that they will simply let higher tier gems drop in-game which will render flawless square gems useless. This also kinda makes sense because as it stands now it takes insane amount of flawless square gems just to get the highest tier and with AH gone there is simply no one that is going to grind that amount of gems.
But i would say similar to the crafting mats no harm in having few stacks of each color.
Tome of secrets:
This is one of the good things to get cause even if blizz introduced new tier or made it so that all the new plans doesn't require tomes you are still gonna need them to upgrade your gems.
You are only gonna need a decent set to help you level up however checking through current items there seems to be some items that "could" be useful in xpac.
Frostburn gauntlets & Magefist.
As it stands now both these items are really not that great but if you consider that you can enchant both at lvl 70 they start to look much better. Imagine you can replace that useless health bonus on frostburn with 500 int and same for magefist all of a sudden that item start looking really great and while yes it might not be a BIS it will def be good enough.
Also one thing to consider about both these items is that right now there really not many "Good" pure Fire or Frost builds that would make these items shine but so far from the data-mined stuff it looks like there will be in the xpac.
You can get perfect rolls for both of these items on AH for like few hundred thousands so there is no harm in keeping couple of those in stash. Also one last thing i would say get 2 of each, cause the info we have so far on enchanting is that you can only roll back the stats that were on the original item so this will give you a safety net while enchanting. Lets say you have 2 gloves A & B you enchant A and get a decent roll at say 450 int but now you will be afraid of re-rolling that int cause you might get lower and you might even never get that 450 int again so now you start enchanting gloves B while leaving A with its 450 int until you get higher roll and so on..
Do you guys think that there is any other legendary items with unique prop that worth getting before xpac of course assuming we can enchant it? Also do you think there is anything else worth getting ?
