    Before gold change on AH.

Farm 1 hour get 1m gold and no good legendaries
AH prices for good gear avg (Ill use commas as a luxury here) 1,000,000,000.00 Gold.

Good gear and average gear is cheap. MP 0 is easy to play with self found gear.

if you want to play the DPS MP10 game you will sucker yourself into believing that gear is worth real money and worth billions of gold.

I hate the idea of "race seasons" in PoE.

We need more features that the average player can enjoy and fewer features that Kripparian can get off to. I think Shadout has a far better idea (see below), in general, than the OP on this subject.

Its that kind of thinking that put D3 in the shape it is today. Just sayin'.

More is more.. Not less is more.

I think they need to bring back monsters that are immuned to certain things, remove MP form the game and hard cap/change crit. It makes no sense.

Apply: Immune to fire, poison, ice, lightning, arcane, crit damage. crowd control and physical.

This games need some serious re-thinking. First they need to get rid of all the game devs that make no sense.

Ya, the game devs who who think BOA and sharagon lvls are needed... GTFO!...lol

What class should I aim to level to 60 first? I really enjoy playing barb and DH but I've read that end game DH is fairly weak. In D2 it was financially ideal to level up a MF sor ASAP when ladder hit, is there any such equivalent in D3? Thanks

I play DH and they are not weak, this is a ploy used by bad DH, they want buffs.. :D

They say DH are weal because they really don't have a cookie cutter, face roll everything with their eyes closed set up.

Biggest advice I could give is forget D2. This game is nothing like D2.

I mean, dumb hipsters like me will always think they're being awesome by getting 80 all res and Life% on a ring that has mediocre Crit Chance and meh Mainstat, and trade their Zunimassa's Marrow for a Tal Rasha's Relentless Pursuit and think it's great to keep that balance, but most others simply won't care - all that matters to them is a trifecta perfect ring. Everything else is "useless".

    Sounds like my WD..lol

Meh, its not like rolling MP 10 is anything to be proud of. My WD only hangs with mp 3-4 and I couldn't care less.

    I don't think you got OP's point.
They MADE all these 'toy legendaries', and now they say "people don't use 'toy legendaries' because they suck".
Yeah, no shit, Sherlock. Maybe you should've figured that out before you made them.

lol...The devs are either totally oblivious or great actors.

A friend of mine came up with a conspiracy theory about whats really going on.

Short version.. Basically the real D3 was split up and will be sold in expansion packs. Now the D3 teams real goal is to keep hope/interest alive in order to sell the console version and xpacs.

I really fail to see how D2 was "more complex" than D3. And let's not even talk about D1, which required less mental effort than Tetris on level 1.

Sure, you could level 10 chars to level 50 with different skills and "see" how the mechanics worked to figure out what your next char would be and then use your stashed items (or trade new ones) to create this guy... but not many players did this (at least trading was only done by the majority, as Blizzard once admitted themselves).

Theoretically, D3 offers mechanics for complexity as well - it's just that some skills are not balanced enough and the itemization is flawed, but both is being worked on. However, at the same time Diablo was never about complexity but is a fast-paced ARPG. If you want complexity, skip the "A" in ARPG and go play one of the other games (single player RPGs or MMORPGs), or PoE for that matter.

Blizzard will not turn Diablo in a complex pro-gamer franchise, they're headed the other direction.

Well honestly, the other direction means just means more dumbed down. And D3 is the least complex ARPG I've ever played.

It kind of weird that you mention D2 not being complex and then tell me to go play POE if I want a complex game. POE is more in line with D2 then D3. So you are pretty much proving my point.

I brought this up a while ago and got a 'trolling' infraction ( which made no sense). But seriously, how would you feel if they just removed items and just focused on combat instead. I would probably enjoy the game a lot more if they did.

D2 will always be more complex for the simple fact of skill trees, builds and pvp . Im just not buying that D3 is complex in any shape or form. And the fact is im not alone, which is why people are constantly complaining about D3 and coming up with great ideas to fix this game.

Who says I dont know this ? The point is that I like it. Diablo is a ARPG, not some super complex super epic real RPG like baldurs gate etc. Slick mechanics leave more time for the monster killing, which is the main point of the diablo series.

Actually Diablo was a super complex epic real ARPG.... Until D3 came around. You may love it. Seems to me you want it more stream lined like Gauntlet with the least amount of RPG qualities as possible.

You seem to have very narrow view of what Diablo meant to alot of people. Slick mechanics and killing monsters is just one aspect of it. But what about building actual new characters, skills, trading, item hunting, pking, dueling, ladders.

Hey, maybe you're happy with a basic hack n slash game. But you are in a small boat. No offense. And basically trying to tell people stop wishing for change is pretty weird.. :D

For a person who likes to throw the troll word around this topic is pretty trollish... ;D

I don't want this game to be like WOW where you have arenas and different gear for PvP and PvE... Diablo is a PvE based game and I'm ok with that...

WoW is not the standard that Diablo 3 should be living up too. Diablo 2 is. IMO WoW is horribale.

That being said PVP was huge in D2. It help fuel trading, character build and acted as a major end game for many people. Wether it was free for all pvp, private duels and pkrs.

The fact that D3 pvp is worse then D2 pvp in ever way possible is not what the fans want.

    Quote from Stephenk291

I really, really, REALLY wish people would be more vocal about fixing PVP and quest based games and game sizes. not having PVP or any form that is worth while is what is driving people insane to nit pick about every other terrible aspect in this game.

People have been very vocal about this, for a long time. Most people just gave up after brawling was added.. D3 devs are just oblivious and can't do anything right, or is it done purposely?. I think they honestly think that brawling is 'good enough' and Diablo is just about items...lol

I am a little puzzled why so much was left out. I mean there are even screen shots of this advertised a year ago. So it wasn't just on paper. I'm specifically speaking about the banner improvements i.e. skulls at the base, streamers for higher AP, Ornaments for Arena play.

But also Arena Deathmatch was early advertised, why never put it in? It may just be my paranoia but I have a growing suspicion that the true D3 game was carved up into 2 maybe 3 segments to be slowly fed to us in the form of an expansion.

Now I wouldn't say this is a developer issue and probably has alot to do with the Executives and Marketing department at Blizzard. If the developers had it their way I'm sure they wouldn't have done that to us ... Right?

All these threads about adding new stuff to the game to customise gear... Be it runes or more gems or the mystic or loot 2.0. All these threads want more and more stats.

    Why ?

Because as far as ARPGs go D3 has the least amount of customization in any ARPG I've ever seen. Especially when compared to D2.

How could you not know this?

And for the love of god, people need to stop begging for BOA... I see you people, lol.. Stop.

If you ask any veteran Diablo player what their most memorable moment was from a past Diablo game, more often than not it will involve a story about the time when a certain rare item dropped for them.

This is pretty much the only thing i didn't agree with. As far as the rest of your post goes, you should be working for blizzard. Great ideas.

    lol right?

ERMAGERD ONLY 3 MILLION PEOPLE PLAY D3 REGULARLY, CLEARLY DEADS

I doubt 3 million people play D3 regularly.

SCpub is about 1000-2000 games average.

    HC pub is about 500.

If all those games where stacked with 4 people each that's about 10 000 players.

So that would mean ...Nearly 3 mill people play alone. I doubt that.

Lmao look at you, you are so in denial for anything positive for this game. Why do you even play?

numbers are straight from blizzard. Over a million play per day, with over 3 million playing per month.

I still enjoy playing the game. Im just not in "denial' that the game is in great shape.

And really, after the past year why should i take anything form blizzard as being 'fact'. Infact i bet the number of a 'million', even if its close to true is mostly gold farming bots and spam bots on all servers. How many accounts does blizzard ban while new bot accounts pop up every day?
