If you're after some specific crafting legendary drops, they only drop from a specific mob type. If you have a recipe you want to use this will heavily impact your area choice.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Some items do keep their values, those with % increases. Say, a trifecta ring with CC, CHD and IAS. With the 4 main stats limit, you're likely not going to see one like this with a main stat for a long time.Quote from Bagstone
If you're worried about gear becoming obsolete in the future, you might not only consider selling Vile Wards, but all of it. (Of course, leveling naked might be a bit challenging...)

Pretty sure selling item licenses out of blizzard tools is a TOS violation. Arguing "but these are only player trades" is nonsense, what you described is a full fledged auction system bypassing the ingame AH limitations, both in terms of price and number of concurrent sales. It's also therefore quite likely a breach of Blizzard's intellectual property (ie, you don't own the items) and you run the risk of being conned by people claiming compromised account and the items being taken from you once the gold received has been secured to other accounts.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

The updates and patches have been great. My main gripe atm is how much better the barbarian is for farming, playing other characters feels like a grind now. I know some other classes can farm well, but at levels of equipment that are unreachable for me. I do ove my monk but it's far from being as effective as a barb.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
To think thta at the very beginning barb was the underpowered class needing huge resists and a shield to survive Inferno 1.0

I pray the expansion makes all those items obsolete and we can start again without the game being corrupted by flippers. When at some point to gear your character drops are more or less useless and so is gold, all because some people want to force you into spending $$$ by virtue of having the time to manipulate the AH, there is a problem.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
That RMAH was a real mistake from Blizzard. It enforced the item design which is, to stay polite, not very good, and makes using the AH pretty much mandatory at some point.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Zunimassa boots add X% poison damage, they do not add X% to poison damage. Hence a lot of barbs using them, for exemple.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I actually stopped going to the hollows, mainly because those zombies are slooooow and it requires much backtracking to loot. (Yes, I still need gold and items, being only at MP4 comfortably atm ^^ )Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I do the full festering woods, go to leoric's castle for the guaranteed elite there, and then go to fields of misery and clear everything, dungeons included, and then start again.

I actually find fields of misery better than the hollows, as the mobs go faster and you have less backtracking to do. The random dungeons in there are crammed full of mobs, and there is the bonus keywarden to farm also. I'm tempted to drop the hollows altogether and just chain this zone once my 5 stacks are up.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
