Demonic Essences got unexciting as soon as I got four of them to upgrade those gear slots. Forgotten Souls are going to be much more useful in Reaper of Souls as they are used to reroll legendaries and craft legendary items.
Probably about as much as I rush to get my Demonic Essence.

He is suggesting more of a clan bank tab. More so than a friend's list bank. Where this bank is where you deposit legendaries and other BoA goodies. He means that if he were to put something in the bank for a particular person in his clan, he wouldn't have to worry about someone outside the clan ninja'ing that item. It all seems like extra unnecessary work though, and I wish they would just open up free-trading to clan members and possibly implement a mail system. I have high doubts the latter would be implemented though. Why would a "Friends List Free-Trade" system mean that people would have access to your stash?

I'm not in favor or opposed to BoA. Blizzard knows about this being a huge issue with the community and it's still very early in beta. They will update us on what the situation is going to be with BoA and how they plan to deal with it. Just try and chill out about it until they put out more beta patches.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
They haven't even finished gear and weapon models... let them at least finish some of the bare bones to the game before adjusting something more intricate.

Problem with live is that I can never find good gear anyways. This will probably change though in RoS. As for saving gear, yeah for myself... I have never once thought that I would save it to trade with a random. I have all classes to 60 so any good gear has always been consider for upgrading my own characters.Quote from Enty
Actually I would save it. If I know its hard to get my frostburns for my frost wiz but i found some ik gloves you'd bet your ass I'd save it just in case i come to pass a barb in a pub. What If he's got my frostburns or another piece of gear i may want? You really don't save good gear just because no one you know needs it?Quote from MetabolicFrolicYou honestly think that if one of your immediate friends doesn't need the legendary upgrade that you wouldn't head straight to the blacksmith to claim your Forgotten Soul? You'll just hold onto it just so that maybe you can trade it someday? I doubt that.

Pretty dumb....dude......pretty dumb.
I like how people have somehow managed to turn my post into something its not. I never once used the terms unnecessary or not needed. I just thought of something regarding the new BoA and thought I'd share it. I guess my first mistake was to even bring up the subject.
For all the undeserved hostility, I hope BoA does stick around and you touchy whiners can sit and sulk.

Quote from miles_drydenMy point is a that a lot of people want trading regardless of whether or not they need it. It's really not an issue of whether trading is necessary.
...then I was forced to disagree with you.
I don't need trading, not now, not in RoS, yet I want trading in the game.
I would have to agree with you maka. Needing to trade is a bad design. Wanting to trade if you would like to do so should still be there though. Since it's still early though, I just hope that some people take two steps back, breathe and realize that it's not to late for systems to be changed or for Blizzard to reach some sort of compromise with BoA and the pro-trading community.

Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote from KükenI don't care too much about high-end trading being gone. What I hate is that you cannot even share items in a group of friends or in the same game. I realize it would probably be hard to find a way to allow this which is not abusable, but it just sucks if you and your friend are in the same game and you find a BoA item that would be absolutely amazing for him but has no use for you, maybe its even for a class you never plan on playing. There should be some way of giving this item to your friend.
Now you're wrong in that regard. Blizzard currently has a two hour time period after the item drops that anyone that was in the game when the item dropped can trade for that item.

Don't forget that getting upgrades won't be exclusive to monster drops anymore. Gambling with blood shards has been confirmed to provide legendaries too. Modz got a legendary from the gambling NPC during one of his streams.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I apologize too. After reading your post it really wasn't too hostile.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I am not pro or anti trading either. When looking at the new loot system, I see a vastly improved system over live D3. I do want those who are in favor of trading to have some kind of system. And personally, I feel the best compromise comes from lifting the BoA restriction for clans. I'm not in favor of it stretching to friends lists because that it too small of a window for RMT of items. Clans are more personal and inviting random bots to clans sounds like a situation that is generally unfavorable to the privacy of the clan members.
