posted a message on Got rank 11 (5 according to Diabloprogress) - How to proceed?

I came back to Diablo at the beginning of this season, and I'm happy with what I've been able to accomplish so far.

I decided to play solo, only farmed rifts and bounties in groups, and I've been somewhat lucky with drops and gotten to rank 11 Monk with GR87 clear.

I am however wondering how to proceed from there, since I would like to push Grifts even higher. The situation now is I'm struggling to put out enough damage, but survivability is no issue.

So I'm hoping I'm missing some way of boosting my damage and someone has suggestions.

Thanks in advance, for any pointers.

posted a message on LF Mature group for weekend and pushing

    Hello everyone.

I'm a dedicated player, looking to get back into Diablo after having not played the past 2 seasons.

Prefer playing WD since I loved firebats back when it was op, so would be fun to play again. But I'd also be ok with Monk, Wiz or DH.

What I'm looking for is a group, who are looking to level and gear together to start pushing.

Im not able to be on right for the start, but I'll be on at about 21h tomorrow, and ready to play most of the night.

Im 31 years old from Denmark, so due to my, in gaming, almost elderly age, id prefer a mature group :)

I am looking for a group for leveling, gearing and pushing this weekend.

I have taken a bit of a break from Diablo3, so havent played at all the last 2 seasons.

I would prefer playing WD, but could be pursuaded into another role.

Looking for a mature group, which can have fun doing stuff together.

posted a message on Which solo Class/Build for Season10?

Bagstone, thanks again for your answer :)

And dont worry, I will be trying more than one class and spec, I just want something good to get back into the game. And since I have an idea what I usually like, I'm aiming for something like that.

I think you have me pretty hooked on the DH tho, since it seems close to the Season 1-3 DH and something I could enjoy.

What Im basically aiming for, for starters atleast, is a build I enjoy that is somewhat top tier so I can do decently high grifts. And also has the versatility to be a bit of a slack build where i can chill and watch some netflix series meanwhile. So for that job, the DH or WD seems the best fits.

    Bagstone, quick question.

If you were to judge all those builds (including the DH), which would you deem the strongest if youre looking for a combination of survivability and damage?

    Thank you Bagstone, great explanation!

I think the obvious choice for me is WD Gargantuan into Firebat or maybe just sticking with Gargantuan.

But ill look into Marauder DH, seems like it might be an option.

As for Crusader, I think I want to play that because of the Diablo2 feel more than anything, and I dont actually think I'd like the gameplay as much as the other options.

posted a message on Which solo Class/Build for Season10?

    Hello everyone!

So I've been away from Diablo for a while, but kinda want to return for season 10.

I'm trying to figure out what to play, and which builds are strong.

What I'm looking for is basically a strong solo build. With gameplay that allows me to also sometimes be casually playing it at a bit lower level grifts, while watching a series on Netflix. So not too fragile or requiring you to constantly be 100% focused. So a bit of a "slacker" build.

Last time I played it was a Gargantuan WD, which i quite enjoyed, but also sorta want to try something else.

Builds I've also played and enjoyed in the past:

WW Barb (Old times, with Skorn/Rend build)

DH Turret build (Back when turrets cast abilities without the character using them)

Wiz Explosive blast (Back when you could just stunlock everything)

WD Firebat/Contagion (Back when you just grabbed a Skorn and started channeling)

What I've considered playing in Season 10, but im unfamiliar with the gameplay, since I havent played for a couple of seasons:

    WD Gargantuan

    WD Firebats

    WW Barb

    Crus Hammerdin

Crus Thorns (Thinking this might be hard to play while slacking, due to managing CDs)

I think the initial favorites are Firebats since I really liked that back in the day, WW for the same reason and Hammerdin because it would be amazing to get the Diablo2 hammerdin feeling again, and it seems really strong :)

I dont really like the playstyle of DH/Wiz later seasons, so dont think they are an option. And I havent ever played alot of monk, so unsure if or which build would suit me, but I am open to trying Monk.

Thanks in advance for any pointers.

I will be going for Physical :)

Think I will try to do that, and then get some more toughness from pants and belt.

I have no int SOJ, so I'm looking for that, but no Carnevil either, so sticking to physical.

Should I keep fetish dmg if i go for 3x Zuni?

Hmm... So, if I go for 3 zuni parts, I should stick with fetish damage?

The problem tho, is I would lose my Aughilds+Ashearas and as you can see, I'm already struggling for toughness so losing 100 allres and 20% life is quite a bit. But I guess the zuni has more defensive stats, so that might help?

So, since I havent played for a while and now want to prepare for 2.1, I figured I'd ask here for pointers what to do.

    My WD:
    http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Mazie-2181/hero/14237965

The upgrades I'm looking for is:

Weapon - Starmetal Kukri or Rhen'o Flyer

Ring - The Tall Man's Finger (Maybe a SOJ, but i lose quite a bit of toughness if i cut Royal ring)

Chest - Aughild's with higher fetish dmg

So, thats my thoughts on what I need to do, so now I'd love some pointers or suggestions :)

posted a message on [Guide] The Guiding Palm (GP) Support Build for Ultimate Healing/Buff/CC Immune
    Quote from INVIS
With correct gearing, you will want STR or DEX (if you prefer dodge) on your gear, not INT, as Monk has a very useful passive called the One with Everything, and single resist is on secondary stat so we can stack them to very high. I am running at 2.2k AR with not perfect resist everywhere without INT gears. Gem is however different, you do have a choice to go either Dex (More Dodge) or STR ( more Armor) or Diamond (more Resist).
    Alright, thanks alot!

So, kinda new to monks, just making a suport build for the fun of it.

I cant help but wonder, for all resist, wouldn't it make sense having int on the items rather than strenght?
