All the hate towards multiboxing is just jellyness. Also it's not an instant way to wealth and legendaries. If you would invest the money for 3 additional copies of D3 directly into gold you would get 600m gold or so instantly if you buy it in AH, more if you buy from third party. And that doesn't count the money for the multibox software nor the additional hardware needed to paaly efficiently. Also Inigo doesn't just equip one char with good gear and all the other with crap stuff with max resists. All his toons are decently geared and he constantly seeks for upgrades for all of his toons. So in this sense he has to invest four times the money to get perfect gear for all his chars, which is the goal of the game anyways. So no reason for all the hate.
I agree though that multiboxing with just one good equipped toon while keeping the others decked in survival stats and on follow is kinda lame.

Thank you for sharing the information. However, it does seem as though there is other software functioning for you in conjunction with what you use to multibox. You appear to notice legendary drops on your 3 puppet accounts faster than would be possible by having to scan 2-3 other monitors.
Other than that, you seem like a very kind person so +1 for kindness...just not so sure that ISboxer is the only program open in the background.
LootAlert is quite commonly used even among non-multi boxers. Really nothing game breaking.

For now it actually does matter where you get your stacks, because on the live servers getting 2 stacks is required for the bonus item drop chance on trash mobs to take effect. This can be neglected for people playing on low mp, but with increasing mp levels you might miss out on a few of those higher concentrated packs in the vault.
On the PTR however there seems to be a bonus drop chance without stacks. There has been no mentioning of this change in the patch notes, so I'm not really sure whether this is intended (and maybe was to begin with?). But until those changes go live, there is a downside to starting with vault. I'd say: if you play on a rather high mp level, tp to canyon and circle first for 2 stacks, then go vault for the bonus item chance. If you play on low mp, Inigo's run is perfectly fine.
If you mean that it would make sense to get some stacks in a low mob density area first in order to get the bonus loot chance for the big trash packs in the vault, you are technically right and maybe it makes sense to run mines/road prior to vault. But the bonus loot chance on mp1 (that's what inigo farms usually) is anyway really low and thus the drops from the elites are much more significant. So it doesn't matter in which order you kill the elites I guess.
To inigo's post I have to say that your claim "over 600 elite packs / hour" is kind of false advertisement. In terms of loot you are right, you get the loot for 600 elite packs / hour with multiboxing 4 chars, still you kill only about 125 elites per hour. If you for instance play together with three friend and you kill 12 elite packs in a single run together, you also wouldn't claim that you guys killed 48 elite packs, right? But I agree this number makes the title more catchy and I guess that was your goal.
Anyways keep up the good work. I really enjoy your stream.

2. WW/HoTA hybrid.
3. I like to play mp2-4 at my current gear (4 is a bit slow). It's easier to keep WoTB up for me on those mps compared to 0 and 1. My near future goal is to get more DPS to farm maybe MP4-6.
4. I would like to improve my DPS with least amount of gold possible. My problem is I don't know which item to upgrade first and if it makes sense for instance to get a mempo without crit to get to a new breakpoint for nados , or if I should buy lacunis with crit and replace my tyrael chest. That's why I seek advice.
5. Budget achievable in the next weeks would be like 50-80m.
6. Get rich and farm mp10 for the gigglez
Thanks for your time

Well I think you can pretty much expect the same price jumps happening after PTR patchnotes release to happen in larger scale when the patch hits. That means brimstones and gems for the crafted amultes as well as essences for gloves at least will go up in price. There are a lot of causual players who are not already decked in those things (people with usually not more than a few mil gold to their disposal) and who will buy a few things from the AH to craft the new items. Sure those people will also try to farm a lot of the stuff themselves, but you know once you get startet with crafting most people will want to continue even though their farmed mats are already used up so they will spend some mil to buy some more from the AH. It's like playing the slot machine and you tell yourself "well this time it will be it!". Maybe the the gain will not bee too dramatic for the mats but I guess prices will stay higher even after the initial price peak in patch week.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
So I think people are wrong saying that you cannot profit anymore from the patch. Prizes for brimstones halved again in the last week compared to before PTR. And most people don't even read forums/patchnotes so there will be increased demand after patch and thus the prices will go up.
