A simple tool to make your life easier, calculate the output of your Greater Rift Trials based on group composition and figure out the chance to upgrade your legendary gem based off of the Greater Rift Key you have!
There is multiple variations of this route, with this specific one I did not clear all of Oasis. However if you feel fit you can add it into your run and other areas such as Forgotten Runs, The Storm Halls, The Unknown Depth or Realm of Shadow.
Thanks for sharing your route ! Have you tested higher mp or is mp 1 the best ? I understand lower mp is the best for demonic essences, but is mp1 the best for a balanced drop of essences and legendaries (I don't really care about xp) ?
All my testing was done on MP10, I just did it on MP1 for the sake of making the video shorter.
Combined Farm Route that allows you to obtain the most legendaries, demonic essences and experience per hour. In addition, the document has data(exp/hour, group exp/hour, mobs killed per hour, SS of starting points) that will allow you to make your own farm routes.
Finally after over 5000 crafts and over 1500 amulet craft attempts, it happened.... I crafted an amulet upgrade, here is clip of my reaction. I happen to be a cold monk btw.
Decided to do some casual testing on PTR today with the buffed firebats, ended up doing a 14S MP10 Ghom Kill... One could say the WD buff was a success! I hope this buff makes it to Live, it would be nice seeing WD being pivotal players in 1.0.8 Group Farming!
With the patch coming out hopefully this can be use to someone, I figure this plans since they are BoE will be selling pretty quick and for a premium price the first couple days! So if you have a hard time making money, here is your chance to become a millionaire.
Also keep in mind blizzard changed the way the plans drop.
Crafting Plans and Jeweler Designs have been added for all of the new Rare recipes listed above
These plans (excluding the chest piece) will drop randomly in the world and also have a chance to drop off the following bosses when you have 5 stacks of Nephalem Valor:
Skeleton King
Spider Queen
Maghda
Zoltun Kulle
Ghom
Cydaea
Rakanoth
Izual
The drop rate from the above bosses will now scale according to your Monster Power level:

Averaging 20 elites in under 20 minutes and 10+ demonic essences per run; also averaged 5 legendary set items and 40+ demonic essences per hour, on MP.6. However does very well on lower MP level!
Efficiency is key, you want to link high density area's by waypoints so you don't have to waste time teleporting.
Efficiency is independently based on your dps; magic find/item bonus per MP level vs Monster Health/damage gain As stated before, when farming you want to be as effective and efficient as possible. To achieve this you want to be 1 or 2 shotting white mobs and killing elite packs in under 20 seconds; you should be farming an MP level that allows you to do so. You also DO NOT WANT TO DIE!

The experience bonus rewarded for killing monsters on Monster Power levels 1-10 in Inferno has been increased:
MP 1: 25% (up from 10%)
MP 2: 50% (up from 20%)
MP 3: 80% (up from 30%)
MP 4: 120%(up from 45%)
MP 5: 165% (up from 60%)
MP 6: 215% (up from 75%)
MP 7: 275% (up from 95%)
MP 8: 340% (up from 115%)
MP 9: 420% (up from 135%
MP 10: 510% (up from 160%)
Route:
Get Checkpoint before Azmodan in Act 3
Start new Game
Zone in at Checkpoint, Clear Core of Area
Teleport to Tower of Damned Level 1, Clear Counter Clockwise, Check Staircase for hidden elite.
Teleport to Arreat Crater Level 2, clear to the end
Teleport to Bridge of Korsikk, clear half of Fields of Slaughter(either left or right doesn't matter)
Go directly through Rakkis Crossing, Clear to teleporter
Teleport to Keep Depths Level 1, Zone in To Keep Depths Level 2 than Clear
Teleport to Stonefort, walk to Skycrown Battlements than Clear main path till end
End of Run

Bosses - Doesnt drop currently but should in the future
Treasure Goblins

@ Tazeon. Yes, I agree that the optimal route should of been pretty obvious to seasoned Diablo 3 players, but some players don't have as much time to invest into the game as others. So this guide ends up being helpful to 90% of the player population that wants to avoid wasting time farming the wrong area for plans that have the potential to be huge upgrades for them.
Anyways, I will be making a new video that will show a very nice 1.0.7 Farm route that yields 20+ elites in under 20 minutes, which i was getting 50+ demonic essences an hour from and a large amount of rare, legendary and set items.
So made a quick guide for monks and others to acquire the BoA Item plans quickly. I found this to be the quickest taking only 1 minute and 30 seconds and has less RnG than depending on World Drops! Happy Farming
