Higher attackspeed, more attacks -> procs more often -> more enemies take splash damage since the procchance always is 20%Quote from RasAlgethi24
Well the damage of the splash is an X% of your actual damage, so stacking just attack speed wont do much. Just whatever gives you the most dps would probably be the best.

Too much work, not enough profit.Posted in: PvP Discussion

So it seems that stacking attackspeed together with splash damage might be the best way? What builds would benefit that?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
You can get 50% damage from splash from paragon points. It rolls on shoulder, gloves, rings, amulet and weapon (6 pieces). I estimate it can roll around 10 on each piece. Then we are up to around +100% splash damage. Will it be worth stacking?
Thanks, tyriah for feedback

Yeah you're right, sorry for that. Here is the tooltip for splash damage:Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Hello, this post is for those who are having trouble gathering enough common debris to do crafting.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
There are many weapon racks and armor racks in Halls of Agony and Cursed Hold in Act 1. They always drope either grey or white items that can be salvaged into several common debris each.
Please share other areas containing many armor and weaponracks that you've had success with.

Here's a picture of Splash damage:Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
It basically works like this:
You have a X% chance to deal splash damage. The splash damage does 20% damage in a 10 yard radius around the primary target. The damage is based off of the damage dealt to primary target. Splash damage can be increased by stats on gear and spending paragon points.
Example: I shoot Entangling shot (200% weapon damage) to my primary target. The splash damage procs, and deals 40% weapon damage to enemies within 10 yards.

I noticed that I could get 4 stacks, cast hydra (without losing the stacks because it only spends when on 5) and then use the 75% dmg buff for channeling torrentsQuote from CardinalMDM
I can agree a bit on the tedium, then again, the Hydra lasts 15 seconds, which is a pretty good amount of time.Quote from Elendiro
The hydra seems great but I find it tedious to cast the hydra. I'd rather just get my AD stacks and then hold Arcane torrents.
One thing I like about Arcane Dynamo, though, is that if you get your five stacks from it, and cast Hydra, I'm pretty sure the Hydra attacks will have additional damage, ;-) So using a primary spell like Electrocute is great to proc Dynamo, as there's no wait time between your character and enemies, it almost instantly starts gathering strength.

The hydra seems great but I find it tedious to cast the hydra. I'd rather just get my AD stacks and then hold Arcane torrents. This build does put out a lot of damage and I've used it many times on LIVE. I'll have to test it out on the PTR aswell.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
Also, the skill is called Familiar - Cannoneer (Sparkflint is another rune).

No need for a poll here. You use it to craft items from 1-63. From 64-70 you use another item called death's breath. It's similar to DE but just drops from higher monsters.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
