Same. I hope they have a preview window before you transmorg something. Be pretty tedious to have to check say another website for all the armor images. -

Please watch the video again, starting at about minute 34 or 35. You absolutely did not understand why they went away from the "tree" system. Also, as you can see in the video, many of their earlier iterations still had a tree system.
Also, nowhere did they say the player is stupid. They said that the player of an ARPG wants to play and not spend hours analyzing the game, which is true. The theorycrafting community in D3 is - whether you believe it or not - quite small. You have not understood anything about this talk.
Furthermore, many people like the new skill system. I've learned to love the freedom of the D3 skill system and don't want to see skill trees ever again. And Wyatt's comments on why skill trees can be bad sometimes are completely valid. Actually, the current system allows for about 3 billion skill combinations, whereas a dependency-oriented skill tree as in D2 has much less options (I don't know the exact number, but it's probably a few hundred or thousand at max).
If you hate the D3 skill system so much, say goodbye to Diablo 3. You will not like any future change as there will be no going back to the D2 skill tree. Have fun playing Path of Exile, it sounds like it's being made for you!

For those whining and not looking at the numbers I posted, I guarantee you 2 IK barbs, WD, Sader will still be able to clear at least 63 with this nerf. Which is still better than any current DH M6 group, without sever.

There should be no whining. Barbs will still do more damage than M6 DHs.
The highest clear before was 70, the highest clear by M6 DHs was I believe 61 without Sever. A 9 level difference means mobs on 70 have 4x health as they do on 61. So, barbs were putting out 4x the effective dps as M6 Dhs.
A nerf to 100% instead of 500%, reduces barb's damage by 1/3 (100% is a 2x multiplier, 500% is 6x multiplier). Therefor, they will still put out more damage than M6.

It should be nerf'd. I put on no new gear, just stuff I had from before and did 49 in under 9 mins, without even optimizing my gear or skills. The highest solo barb clear is 8 levels above any other class last time I checked.
It's fun though, so I hope they keep the concept. Just need to dial in the numbers a bit.

I'm a bit surprised by this announcement as the PTR's sets still seem a bit unfinished/unbalanced. I know it doens't mark the 2 week notice yet but it does make it seem like season 3 is only about a month away.

Increase the drop rates? Are you serious? It's high enough already. It took me 2 days in seasons to fully gear for T6 from scratch with clan mates as soon as season 2 went live. Had alll the required items (though not optimal rolls) the 2nd day. You want an even higher progression rate?
The stupidly high drop rate is the reason for ancient items and I'm glad they implemented those.

Good to see, thanks for sharing Jaetch. Hopefully Wiz's will have a place in higher GRs come next patch. It's been a while since I enjoyed playing wiz (firebird's is the most boring build to me in the game).

Welcomed change. Perma immunity should never be in the game. It's not a good game play mechanic.
I'm also surprised they still allow the tiki WD. It completely ruins the game play experience. I can't imagine blizzard thinking its ideal game play to have mobs just standing there, permenantly feared. It makes for boring, unengaging gameplay. Yes I realized it doesnt always go that smoothly and its required to the higher tiers but thats a small price to pay.

Just fyi, 500% more damage is actually a 6x damage multiplier. 100% more damage, doubles your damage, so 2x multiplier, hence 500% is 6x.

Great job Blayreau. Only thing I dont like about the build is it reminds me of the old M6. What I mean is against the Rg, you build up your stacks, drop 2 Hydras, then hide while they do all the work.
The set is powerful, but like the poster above mentioned I suspect a portion of the power is from the new focus/restraint. Can you try some runs without those rings so we get a true barometer of the set's power?

Pretty much agree with everyone here. Micro transactions for cosmetic stuff, stash space, character slots are fine. I actually think its good for the game as well in the long run. But no to any thing that gives you a competitive advantage.

The animation changes above the monsters head but that doesnt mean they overlap and stack, it could mean they each rune overwrites each other and only one palm can be placed on each mob. Do you have actual data showing that they do stack?

As far as I know the only place that shows breakpoints for all skills is D3rawr.com/d. Load your profile. go to the skill damage tab, you'll see most skills listed, and there should be a breakpoint button by every skill that brings up the chart. It doesn't list cluster arrow for some reason though.
