Not a big difference for me, various P2.0 calculators said I should be around 183, but in closed beta I have 178. maybe the calculators had it wrong?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

well, I will be around 183, but I plan to reach another 2 characters to P100. All of them strictly solo play.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Not a big deal, since with group play anyone can do it, in under 40hours?

I agree 100%, without life steal and the mixed monsters in nephalem rifts (imagine poison trees, angels(act4), and wasps(act2) together)Quote from ruksakI crave defensive aspects to my ARPG. That's why I play HC. I miss the days of sword and board.
we should be looking to a completely different play-style: tactics, a more all around character and not the current run and kill , without even looking to monster affixes..

Magic find changes (from Travis Day)Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Diminishing returns , MF doesn’t count as much for legs/sets
from Wyatt Cheng:
Combat mechanics, NV could be removed, changing skills almost “freely” (timer restriction)
Very important news, with great ramifications to ROS game play.
The MF change is directly tied to soul-bound legs, and our chances to find one..
The combat approach could lead to a more engaging/difficult combat (but at a slower rate?)
Ps. Just wanted to start a conversation (I believe these are important news), if it’s not allowed to post links to others sites, please accept my apologies and delete thread

In this interview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrS_th5AI00 with Thunderclaww , Travis Day says ALL legs and sets are BOA (except the game you’re in). no top tiers or anything, ALL.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
He explains their reasoning (earn your loot) at around 11.30.. (he did say ..right now..) So it could change..
And crafting doesn’t get a major overhaul! (other that, any craft will be a smart “drop”)
Side note: I didn’t liked his answer about jewels, at all. ( as if more options would be bad)

This is a serious decision from Bliz, my fear (as others mentioned already) is that, they’re making legs BOA because they will be overpowered and very frequent (console?) something that will kill item hunt in the long run.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
But this fear contradicts their statement that legs should be BIS AND RARE!
Maybe since all legs will drop at all levels, we will have something to hunt.
And the solution is very simple, bind on equip or trade freely inside your clan! What’s the point of clans otherwise?

1. Regarding difficulty/replay valuePosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
What changes in combat mechanics and MP are scheduled, in order to provide a challenge for new players and high end players, even after 6months of ROS release? What would be the long term goal? Will Nephalem rifts/trials, have a scaling difficulty?
2. Regarding builds/itemization
Will new affixes appear in different items/slots (charms?) that change a specific build/skill, or only in new legs?
Are gems being rebalanced (stats they offer, new effects) to provide more meaningful choices?
So much to ask.. just off the top of my head

A hard cap I believe is the only solution now. We already have a huge contrast in players DPS and a very high inflation of monsters hit points, MP10 is just more tedious…Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Our current mindset comes from the present state of the game, while with ROS all these should be different. It would preposterous to have our current cc, IAS and CD and a 3000dps weapon!
And something about nerfs…
A 600-1000 damage 1h (1120dps) sword, with 60% cc and 600CD does 5120damage/s
A 1600-2200 damage 1h (3360dps) sword, with 20% cc and 200CD does 4704damage/s
Not so bad…
My math could be wrong.. feel free to correct..

from the 03.00 min mark until around 13, their general approach towards healing
I like his approach , let's see how they actually do it
