Not sure where you were but farming when I farm MP10 (Cave of the Assassin), I use a very similar setup... easy peasy
Backlash loves high density mobs ... in fact it scales with the amount of enemies attacking you. Its awesome for sure.

Not a bad looking Monk. though your resists are a little low for my liking. I assume your not running OWE because you have gear thats comprised of 6 different resistances??
Look into upgrading your pants to 9 AS for more DPS.

No offense amigo but youre looking rather squishy to me. Sure, you're putting out 310K DPS but with 307K EHP, youre a fallen maniacs dream. I dont see any balance in that gear, its 100% offense. I guess if it works for you then that all that matters. It would be a nightmare trying to re-balance at this point.

Posted in: Monk: The Inner SanctuaryQuote from alexdanxhow do you see the number for mitigation ?
I changed around my build away from Bell to some 2hander build for extra awesomeness I like it more, even if is harder to run it past mp7 (even on mp7 , i die sometimes).
One more question : Can i run the DW build with only one LS weapon or i must absolutely have two? I have a nice echo fury but with only 160K DPS unbuffed...it seems i don;t leach enough HP to stay alive.
I made an excel sheet that compares damage mitigation between gear or people or whatever... here it shows me on the left and you on the right. The stats on the far right represent the differences. For Ex. You take 12.22% more damage than I do for a given amount of incoming damage, though you have slightly higher (2.37%) EHP value:
As for needing Dual LS, no, however, it sure does help.
Here is my MP10 farming monk:http://d3up.com/b/496741
I pretty much stick to CoTA of Keeps 2 but I have zero problems staying alive.

Your main "issue" right now is that you dont have enough mitigation. In your current gear set your mitigating 89.57% of incoming damage. That may sound like a lot but its not. Case in point: Lets say you get hit for 25000 point of damage, your armor and resistances reduce the "felt" damage to 2608.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
However, if you were to adjust your AR total so that it was say, 600, that mitigation percentage would jump to 90.44 and your damage taken would drop to 2389. That's a 9.19% reduction in damage taken.
Therefore, what ever you decide to do you can not afford to lose any more resistance at this point. So I would advise against a Nats set.

Heres a MP10 CoTA farming build you probably havent seen before. It centers around Backlash and uses Sixth Sense in place of STI for the added dodge chance.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary

I swapped out a Innas (150 Dex / 194 Vit) for my Tals and never looked back. Gained 3K DPS and 80K EHP so it was a no brainer.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary

Posted in: Monk: The Inner SanctuaryQuote from KükenI tried to use a similar spec with dual-wielding, first without bell just to quickly travel from pack to pack, then with bell. Then I tried a Skorn, and its just so much more efficient, its not even funny. I do way less sheet dps with the skorn (150k vs 200k when dual-wielding, didn't want to invest too much in the LS Skorn), yet the packs drop so much faster.
For now, I prefer FoF over Chant of Resonance, though. I like to move a little faster, even if I might have to add an additional attack.
Im in a similar situation. I only use my Skorn for DE farming and its a left over from my TR exp days. I can only do MP3 though as I rely just on +globes for health. Cant see spending tons of gold on a LS Skorn. I get ~32-35 DE's /hr which is good enough.

We have nearly the exact same setup. I even run a ruby as well. I go with SSS in place of overawe however as it allows me to easily handle the reflect packs. Nothing worse than dropping a bell on a reflect packPosted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary

Nicely Done KIlo. I use a similar skills setup but concentrate on stun in my build. That and I rely solely on life regen for sustainability; which has been a pleasant surprise to be honest.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
Heres my profile: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Edward-1570/hero/3500216
I generally run with this skill setup: http://imgur.com/xbTMrOn
but will change it around from time to time. My gear remains constant though. This build / gear setup is basically a pet project but it has proven to be pretty fun and usable.
