i dont know where you got this but stalker definitely increases run speed above the 124% gear cap, making it 144%, and further stacking with spirit walk.Quote from titelheld
Since you don't provide al link to your profile I am not sure if it concerns you but the Stalker rune does not increase your movement speed above the movement speed cap. That seems to be a bug so if it concerns you you might want to switch Horrify for something else.

ball lightning works great with a windforce since it knocks mobs back as the ball moves through them, resulting in them receiving extra shocks from the ballPosted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands

based on your data:Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands
- if you want to deal more damage, choose devouring arrow
- if you have a build that relies on life on hit or procs (nightstalker, chance on hit effects ect.) you can choose puncturing arrow (although cinder arrow still has higher proc rate)

blue gear will still mean you one shot everyone also wearing blue gear. in fact it makes the game even more about one shotting because blue gear has less affixes so everyone will get say a ring with 140 dex, 8% attack speed and no other stats so damage reduction we be even less than it is now. you could say go for naked combat with a weapon purchased at a vendor in act 1 normal new tristam with no level requirment. but then everyone will only deal 50 damage or so per hit while the guys with high paragon levels will have health pools over 10k. choosing life regeneration skills such as brooding would make it so noone ever dies because brooding regenerates the same amount of damage than you will receive. there is no easy way to fix it. sugestions anyone?Posted in: PvP Discussion

right you are! all the stats are fine. i play a demon hunter and i used to have a crit build (100kdps with 50%cc, 450%cd) and now i have an average damage/attack speed build (2.97 aps) and my dps is 110k. crit is definetly not overpowered (sentry is! XD)Quote from shndany
I think that the 4 stats:
- Average Damage
- Increased Attack Speed
- Critical Hit Damage
- Critical Hit Chance
Are ok right now. I seriously can't understand why people wan't critical hit chance nerfed. This stat, is the most important for CM Wizards and Demon Hunters who use Night Stalker to recover Discipline. If they cap it to 30 or 40% they would make this two builds completely useless. And I'm sure that most of them would leave this game. This is a terrible idea, and Blizzard should nerf this stats only to those who suggested it.

barbarian is the worst class in pvp at the moment. but dont worry the will fix it before they will introduce actual pvp content.Quote from Godrik1374
Hi, I have a barb with arround
225k dps/ 5.5k armor /600 all resist / 70k hp
And i get my ass kicked in PVP.
A monk with only 80k dps kill me easy (when im not using bersek)
same for DH and WD.

I think PVP should be about player skills, not based on luck or economy. I therefore would like to see all characters entering a PVP area getting their stats adjusted to the same level kind of like how you enter a challenge mode in World of Warcraft, your gear is adjusted to a certain ilvl.
In World of Warcraft, there are clear PVP seasons with a limit amount of gear which is available to everyone. The itemization in D3 is way different and I don't think you can have PVP in the same way.
There's always going to be ppl complaining about the unfairness in PVP due to some ppl gearing using RMAH or having way more time to play the game than you. Doing this adjustment will make it much easier for blizz to balance PVP and make it more about the talents of the player than a gear-check.
It might also be some complaining about this system since the players that has spend a lot of time getting the gear would feel it was in vain but maybe that's just something they'd have to get over: Diablo 3 PVP is not about gear, but skill.
Do I think ppl spending a lot of time in the game should be punished? No, I don't. I think Blizz could add some PVP rating that shows how good you are. Could also have a win:loss ratio showing. Another possibility is to earn credits when you pvp and with these credits, you could unlock PVP runes and before each fight you may activate 3 of them. suggestions of runes:
- 15% reduced time of snare effects
- 1% extra crit chance
- 3% more armor
- Aura with 1% chance on hit taken to reflect 15% of the damage done over next 1,5 seconds
- Aura with 1% chance on hit taken to replenish 5% of player's health over 5 seconds.
the suggestions you give 'have been given before, but blizzard will not adjust pvp in this way because it goes against the spirit of the game. diablo is about loot, plain and simple. diablo pvp will not feel like diablo if we can't use the gear we aquired playing the game for almost a year. items are cheaper than ever and it doen't take long to gear up to a respectable level now. ofcource the players with the god items have a clear advantage, but that is supposed to be the way it is. diablo pvp will not be about 1vs1 deathhmatch however, so there will be plenty of room for skill. but gear will be the deciding factor, as it should be.

it was this way in diablo 2, and since the damage to health ratio in diablo 3 is pretty much the same as in d2, one can only assume that there will be a similar damage/healing reduction effect applied in diablo 3 pvp. didn't know CM wizard can freeze lock single targets. still thats not anything special, i play demon hunter and i have more than one way to chain cc one target: with 3.something attackspeed i can use hungering arrow-cinder arrow with a windforce to keep a mob in knockback stun, or i can use elemental arrow-screaming skull for a fear lock, or bola shot-thunder ball for a stun lock. other players will probably recieve the same diminishing returns as elites though so cc locks on other players will not be possibleQuote from maka

you cant keep the freeze up if you only have one target to crit on, i dont see any reason why the build would have to be nerfed.
Yes you can, with enough CC and AS (and maybe APoC), you can permastun one target.
Quote from kablooie
lifesteal (or any healing from gear for that matter) will not be effective in pvp because damage and healing will be reduced in pvp to 1/6th.
Where did you read this? I never say anything like that written by any sort of official Blizzard staff.

I would like your toughts on the new PVP feature (d2 style) that will be introduce in 1.0.7.
Any well geared CMWW wizard can lockdown an enemy. Question: how do you think this will nerfed (or untouched?) for PVP? CMWW will basicly need to Frost Nova once to win and... we know the rest?
Also, while we are here, do you think life steel will work on PVP? I have 4,2% life steal, I hope it works!

i'm really looking forward to pvp, i hope they introduce battlegrounds like in wowPosted in: PvP Discussion
because of how the skill system works in diablo i think it will be even more fun than in wow
i play demon hunter and i could see myself as a flagrunner running with vault-tumble + tactical advantage, + movement speed and + discipline or as a flage defender setting up 3 sentries, spike traps and calltrops while everyone else will charge the opposing flagroom.
