    Best advice:

    1. Achieve gear that can easily clear mp0 act 3.
    2. Farm til Paragon 100 (while not spending)
    3. Picking up anything under L63 yellows will only slow you down.
    4. Pick up only jewelries/legends if you are really efficient.
    5. Hope to land a quintfecta ammy.

A couple of improvements I think you can make to ramp the experience way up:

I really don't agree with skipping out on Rend. Rend (with the increased range rune) should one-shot all non-shielding elites if you have reasonable gear and a Skorn (there's no reason to dual-wield WW unless your gear is completely ridiculous)

My barb runs with 300% MF and about 120M exp/hr (on average, not high-end) with Leoric's/Hellfire and same on follower, 122k DPS with Weapons Master, 50k health, 400 all res. The spec I use is:
Bash/Instigation (whatever rune is fine, I like getting more Fury)
    Whirlwind/Hurricane
Rend/Ravage (I only cast this on elites, it one-shots literally everything that doesn't have shielding)
    Battle Rage/Into the Fray
Sprint/Run Like The Wind (Marathon is also good but the tornadoes help to keep up Fury)
    War Cry/Charge! (fury regenerator)
Passives: Weapons Master, Animosity (is that the fury regen +20% one? if not it's whatever that is), Unforgiving

This works better with 5pc IK (you still use Unforgiving - IK 5pc is buggy and doesn't work as intended 90% of the time but it does stop your Fury from degenerating. Why would your Fury degenerate?)

I do several different runs that pull about the same exp/hr but I add Keep3 to my runs because it's quite efficient once you know the possible layouts. Also more uptime of 5stack without doing inefficient areas. If you end up having to backtrack it's better to go through town to Keep1 though.

But Rend/Ravage is much better than Overpower and any other way of killing elites. If you take more than a split second to kill an elite you are wasting time.

Well, with IK 5 set, you would not need to have fury generating spells like overpower/merciless, my guide is from a perspective of a non-IK 5 set. and why are you still using war cry? xD overpower or merciless assault would bump ur exp rate way up

rofl, never seen someone as fake & disgusting as raoha, you found the exact same route from the barb/monk forums which has been out for 2 months and slap your name on it.

What a pathetic attempt to gain subscribers.

    Hi ikigai,

The build and the route is great. Thanks, man. I've not been playing my Barb for a while, so my gears are almost out of date. I'm planning on building a new set. Could you pls suggest me what is the minimum DPS/HP/All res/Crit chance to farm with this build efficiently?

    Cheers!

    Hey thanks,
I'd recommend you to have 450 all res, 40-50% crit chance including passives, 150k buffed DPS dual wield (passives + into the fray) and 35k hp for efficiency
24% movement speed is good enough

i'm interested in trying this build out... but my problem is i find myself losing alot of fury very quickly... i'm not an avid barb player, as my main character is a WD... so maybe i'm just not used to using WW and such... do you not kill everything? you just rush through and kill only what dies on the first pass? also, i find my barb takes a little while to kill elties... i guess i need to get more damage in order to do faster runs...

hey there, if you are not 1 shotting almost everything, the standard wotb build will be better. as you will be generating lots of fury when there are mobs to crit off from into the fray.

I am running something similar, but using Leap/call of arreat over Furious Charge. It generate plenty of fury on its own, not to mention the aoe pull for overpower and mobility it provides. I'm only 130k dps with all buffs, but the speed is great for me so far. I'll give your route a try today.

Edit: I think I will try this build out and just try my Leap over bash. The furious charge looks like it helps a ton on speed. I have a 5pc IK so fury isn't too much of a problem right now.

the reason i chose overpower n furious charge over leap ground stomp is because of the cooldown/fury ratio.

would you rather spam and get unlimited fury with almost no cooldown or wait 15 seconds to leap/gs. nothing much to jump over anyway xD

with leap/ground stomp i get way less exp/hr than the build i've finalised

    http://youtu.be/80M8uk_2EjE

Your stopwatch program in that video shows it as being 83.5 m/hr, which is very consistent with what I'm getting with this set up. I noticed you dropped rend/hota for bash and it didn't slow you down, because you're doing so much damage from WW/tornadoes. I wonder if you could drop bash but keep Merciless Assault, because it generates so much fury, and use merciless assault and momentum to keep a high WOTB uptime. At this point this is diverging a lot from the original point of the thread, but I think its worth trying.

don't mind the average exp of the stop watch as i was trying all kinds of runs before that. even with cains i got like 75m because my kill speed and movement speed suffered.
but for this build i have been consistently getting 85m. 90 with shrine buffs. as you can see on the stopwatch if you look carefully.

I posted in this in the other thread where you posted this video, but I think its more appropriate here:

Is Bash necessary in this build? In the video you're hardly using it, and it doesn't look like it really speeds anything up more than just WWing for another second would. I'm asking because it seems like with both merciless assault and momentum you might be able to generate enough fury to sustain WOTB for long periods of time.

    I'm thinking this: http://us.battle.net...QURP!ZYh!ZZYZYc

I'm not sure whether the third passive would be better as unforgiving, animosity, or boon of bul-kathos. Also, potentially the templar could be used for the 8% more fury generation, but I'm not sure if that's actually better than the scoundrel's 3% crit.

Part of the appeal of these builds for me is not having to worry about WOTB, but WOTB does have the potential to really speed things up IF you can sustain it on MP0.

Also, the stopwatch program says 83.5 mil/hr, right?

I do use bash, i like the range of it. but feel free to try out different things :)
WOTB will be a pain to maintain when your DPS reaches a certain point. my goal is simplicity = efficiency
Wotb would be ideal for barbs with lower dps.

passives & followers are personal preference.

the stopwatch shows the average exp of runs on top, and the exp of last run below it.

Alkaizer route, optimised for more loot + exp.

    Build: http://us.battle.net...URQS!YZh!cZZYYZ
    D3 stopwatch: http://www.diablofan...atch-run-stats/

    Consistent 85m exp per hour
    Easy 90m with shrine buffs.(Fleeting/enlightened/empowered)
    100m with leorics.

Warning: This build requires certain amount of DPS.
    I'd aim for 90-100k un-buffed DPS (without passives/battlerage)
Lets just say if your tornadoes cannot clean up mobs in a second or 2, you're better off with WOTB instead and come back after some upgrades.

Hey guys I came up with this build and wanted to share it with the community.
I have tested various builds/routes from paragon 50-90 and settled with this to P100.
I am confident to say that this build and farm route IS the best for a balance of tons of both EXP & LOOT.

    Overpower- Momentum
    Furious charge- Merciless assault

    Why? :)
Almost zero cool-down spam-mable area-of-effect burst DPS + fury generator for 100% sprint & whirlwind uptime.

Why not use WOTB/Leap/Ground stomp/Rend etc
I've tried everything and those skills slow the exp ratio down by alot (minus 10m/hr)

Why waste a skill slot of wotb's 2 minute cooldown when it is such a pain to maintain off mobs that die instantly and has nothing for into the fray to crit off from?

Why wait 15 seconds to cast leap/ground stomp when you can spam aoe burst dps and generate fury with furious charge and overpower?

Rend is debate-able, but personally this is a no-no. Bash-pulverize all the way for its long range and reliability. No reason to jeopardize your run for running out of fury and not being able to sprint.

The beauty of this build is it's simplicity.
Simplicity = efficiency = stress-free = more enjoyable game + make a couple of Billion
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Route; pretty much an optimized Alkaizer route:

    Core of arreat, 30s - 50s
    Tower of damned 1, 30s -50s
Arreat crater 2, Aim to arrive by 1m 30s
    Rakkis crossing,
    Fields of Slaughter,
Keep depths 2, Aim to arrive by 5m
END - 6-8m depending on how thorough you are, or if you simply hit a dead-end, etc.

    Fields of Slaughter:
On the way to fields of slaughter waypoint, slaughter as much as you can while not running too far off course.
I usually go from the top but sometimes cut to the middle if there happen to be a chain of mobs leading to the middle and cut to the bottom of fields and to waypoint.

    Keep Depths 2:
You want to clear like 3/4 of the area, focusing on clearing the square of the map. at least 3 of the 4 corners, restart when you hit a dead-end or if you need to run a long way back to find mobs. But if you are able to clear the whole map smoothly, even better. try to stick to the bottom of the map first as The Breach is always on top.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Immortal King's 5 set bonus:
Personally never tried it but would definitely help + frees up a passive slot(unforgiving)

    Cain's set:
DO NOT use this, I tried it from 85-95 and realised at 95 that it is still faster with your best gear on. was 150k buffed dps but got 75-80m/hr. elites took couple seconds extra not to mention the occasional deaths from low survivability.

    Leoric's Signet:
Never owned one but I'd reckon you will hit 100m exp/hr with this puppy. even better if you got an extra 1 for your follower. If you do not own 1, you can buy 1 but do not farm for one as it is a waste of time when barbs level soo fast with this build.

    Gear:
At the time of the video, I had pretty crappy gear.
31k hp, 410 res, like 110k unbuffed with a stone of jordan. 25% Movement

    Looting:
I do pick up stuff, I only focus on jewelries & Legends if I'm more focused into leveling up, If not, I pick up 1 handers + 63 armors too. 99% are thrash anyway and will slow you down in terms of exp & finding your next leg/quintfecta. I made like 1B gold and 500USD from P70-P90 alone by not picking up most of the thrash :)

    Happy leveling :)
    Critiques/questions welcome.
