    I picked no AH because in the past on PC version of d3 I have spent as much as half my time on the AH searching for deals or selling items. I always wondered if that gg item would have been obtained if I had spent more time playing the game.

    d3 as a game was so bad infact it pushed players back to d2 increasing 3rd party $ transactions for that game

    Also RMAH did not do anything to make it safer for d3 players thats simply a myth all it did was increase the amount of players that thought of gold/items in terms of dollars ruining the integrity of the game 3rd party sites are bigger than ever.

    havnt done any experimenting outside regular experience but i believe the issue is aps(attacks per second) and it works something like hit recovery in d2 thats why you might feel it more using a 2hander

    with sound setup correctly i have finally gotten used to the legendary sound blizzard gave us but i do wish i could change it like in loot alert i have not used loot alert in months and am confident i have not missed more than 1 or 2 legendarys which were most likely bad anyway
    i encourage you out there who still use loot alert to do the same as i and just weed yourself off it and familiarize yourself with their sound but also push for customization of their alert system

    my run is more for magic find purposes (p100) finds lots of goblins/elites
    start at azmodan checkpoing do core backwards
    take wp to tower of damned do it counter clockwise
    take wp to tower of cursed do west until stairs
    run to arreat 2 from tower of cursed do arreat 2 backwards scipping deadends ( can see where wp is with map unrevealed)
    continue to heart of the damned do the exit of this zone
    tp to town wp to rakkis crossing do backwards
    continue into fields of slaughter do west side of zone then hook up through middle to top of eastside and proceed to follow east side down to wp
    take wp to keep dephs 3 clear most the zone and while doing this discover keep dpehs 2 breach
    tp to town run up to keep dpehs 1 work most direct way to keep dpehs 1 wp( can see where wp is with map unrevealed)
    go in keep dephs 2 work most the zone based on the layout you can predict with experience + the revealed breach
    tp to town take wp to stonefort travel to skycrown do this backwards repeat when run complete

    do bonus items drop off of destructables/chests etc and do you think magic find sneaks in and affects the bonus item roll?

    wtf is with rng i have gotten hand crossbow set nat's in exact same spot in keep dephs 2 map 4 times now in that wood floor area with 4 metal grates by the 2 further north metalgrates perhaps its due to that skelie spawn dieing in exact same grid point and that settles what legendary it willbe? could test this by kiling stuck mobs like the big wurms that crawl up walls and spit out demons

    well to me pure random is boring so i will always look for patterns and hope they made little secrets in the game to make it actually interesting and not a bunch of stupidity rolling a massive online dice i want control i want some kind of strategy that yields better odds even if slight i want to min max you know that desire/need?

    take d2 for example for me the top 3 fun things to do were pvp character building and farming rng played a big role in farming but i loved how things like ilevel(map/mob), maxrunedrop, mob density, bosses and magic find mingled into so many long short medium routes in d2 and in d3 i just dont feel that theres enough diversity to make it enjoyable so i go and seek it out and sometimes probably imagine it im sure im not the only one guilty of this i think this is a big flaw in the design

    d3 has dumbed down magic find sooo much thers no good stuff for low magic find(runes,white items,socketed items,gold for gambling) theres ~half the difficulty+loot potential tradeoff even with mp10 theres no need to balance magic find at certain levels plus too easy to get with paragon too easy to be in max level areas yet limited to 1 act a game(how do you too much and too little content at once this is just ultra fail) game scaling feeling off for farming in many places due to 4player design in terms of level sizes and mob density just to name a few problems

    The item name is not completely random but based on the stats. This is actually not a bug (related to the double drop issue you're talking about) but a rare abomination of randomness. The item rolled the same affixes and thus got the same naming part, just like a blue item (two "Amulets of Strength" will have similar stats, but will definitely not be a double drop if they have different amount of strength on them.
    probably true why i never brought it up before still i think it does happen too often i may farm efficiently but even im not dumb enough to think i get enough drops to reproduce this stuff so often
