I'm not a big fan of diabro, especially the MP recommendations are often horribly wrong in both directions... though the gear score can give some indications, yes.
upgrading is always dependent on the MP level you aim for. if you want to play MP0, you can go all out DPS. if you want to play MP10, you will need much higher defensive stats and a life steal weapon. also you should mention your budget so it's easier to give advice.
as far as I can tell no slot stands out as being way behind the others. stat-wise, though, you should look for higher all resist and life if you want to move up in MPs. I would try to get it on pants, shoes, shoulders and bracers. also right now critical hit chance is probably the stat that will give you the most DPS increase since yours is very low. look for it on the rings and amulet and possibly helm. depending on your budget it may be hard to get all of this, but maybe you can find a few good deals on these slots with the respective stats.

well huertgenwald, if you ever see a crit mempo for under 10m (OP's budget), please do let me know.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
some cheap upgrades:
- inna's radiance with vit/AR/your resistance
- consider using inna's favor as well. 4 set bonus is very nice for the gameplay (sweeping wind spirit cost)
- nat's boots with your resistance
- nat's ring with your resistance
- better emerald in main hand
the real problem though are your weapons. maybe you can get a good deal for a new main hand for under 10m by dropping either the socket or the crit hit dmg and instead get much higher weapon damage (keep life steal). you will need to make up for some vit elsewhere though.
build-wise, since you're using 2 sprit generators using combination strike (probably instead of resolve) will add another 16% damage.

Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient RepositoriesQuote from VenaliterI really don't get these threads. It's easy to build a very good CM wizard for really cheap now. Everyone is unloading gear while it's still worth something. Open up the AH and search for upgrades and enjoy it while you can.
As for is it worth it to invest in gear right now...If you're gearing up for RoS, it's a waste of time. If you're trying to grind Paragon, it's a waste of time. If you enjoy playing some d3, it's gold well spent.
in my opinion this cannot be any more wrong. first of all it's not a waste of time for paragon because better killspeed = better leveling. secondly, regarding RoS, you need gear to farm the new content, and rather better than worse gear, so upgrading makes absolute sense. quite to the contrary, selling stuff is pointless ever since it's clear that the AH will be shut down (unless you can get a substantial amount of real money). also depending on how enchanting will eventually work come RoS, current gear may actually be usable. I for one am looking for upgrades constantly trying to make all classes mp10-capable because of how the class-specific loot 2.0 drops will probably work.
to OP, if gold really is not an issue I'd do quite some shopping. like jamoose said you need better gloves, I'd go all out DPS i.e. trifecta or high CC/CHD, vit or AR is a bonus. most importantly, you totally need much much more all resist and also some armor. everybody has different expectations regarding survivability, but this is clearly way too low mitigation for mp10. if you can farm it "comfortably" I'm guessing you're a little sadomasochistic. you can get AR or armor on your tal chest but I would consider switching to zuni chest for the AR on it and the 3 piece AR bonus. I would also craft better shoulders with much higher AR or use vile wards. also get zuni trail with AR. also try to craft some awesome bracers.
in the end I'd look for a higher LS weapon, too (you can easily get something good for 200-300m, no need to spend 2b).

oh well, apparently gold was not an issue. looks better indeed. I would agree you next should get better BT pants (dex roll is wasted, better get 2 sockets, high vit, int/vit or armor) and lacunis (I like AR or armor).Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
also I wouldn't use bloodmagic with only 12% movement speed, especially since you have enough LoH (however you might also want to upgrade that amulet at some point). movement speed is a matter of personal taste tho.

it's certain stat values you need to obtain, not certain gear pieces. unless you really have a lot of gold to splash I especially wouldn't recommend switching to mempo + apoc source in your case, as it will likely result in a huge DPS loss. for now I would stick with the 2.5 aps breakpoint and the BT pants + storm crow + non-apoc source setup, it's a great combination regarding LoH and apoc and gives very good DPS. the only upside of mempo + non-apoc source is more EHP and one more attack speed slot. personally I've played for the most time with SC + non-apoc source, only made the switch after my lovely off-hand dropped in game.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
so if you're aiming for MP10, I really would just try to get 1-2 more AR slots and some armor without losing too much DPS and you're good to go.

yes that's unbuffed, before any armor. shocking aspect gives you so much effective DPS that you should use it in any event. if that means you don't have the mitigation for MP10 you can play on a few MPs lower or use diamond skin - crystal shell to make up for slightly lower AR/armor values (but also lose some effective DPS). you can also use blood magic which gives you more life return and thus also somewhat counteracts lower mitigation, and is good for group play anyway (though solo I prefer teleport). in the end though you want to get pretty close to those AR/armor values unbuffed so you're not dependent on certain skills/runes which lower eDPS or result in subpar gameplay.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories

that totally depends on what you mean by "upgrading".Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
if that includes moving up MP levels and eventually MP10: you need a lot more all resist and armor. personally I'd always go for around 800 AR and 4k armor along with some 800 LoH for MP10. you have more LoH but you're playing with 2.5 aps so I'd still recommend these AR + armor values. you're especially low on AR, I would try to get it (and hopefully some armor) on pants, belt, bracers and ring if need be.
if you're fine playing mid MPs and just looking for DPS instead of more damage reduction: I'd first look for higher CC/CHD gloves, 8% storm crow and higher int/avg dmg chantodo's force. also your shoulders have rather low int so you could try to craft better ones (though they are nice HP-wise).
I wouldn't switch to zuni chest in your case because you would lose even the 2.5 aps breakpoint. the pox + trail combo can be an option generally but I wouldn't recommend it in your case because you would lose important stats or pay much more gold to get what you have now regarding EHP, ias and cc.

my monk doesn't receive much love (was about 200-250m) but it can do MP10 due to the lazy double-LS set up. MP8-9 is more efficient tho still.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary

great advice by shinna and rasalgethi.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands
just to add tho, I think with bombardment builds preparation is actually not mandatory at all. nightstalker does so well regarding disc regen, even vs single targets enough RF crit chance lets you almost perma gloom (not that that's even necessary with enough EHP). nats 4 piece does give you punishment as an option tho... personally I would still stick to a generator, but use another disc-spender (caltrops or smoke screen). in any event, if you do use a generator I would really suggest you give grenades - tinkerer a try, it takes about 2-3 seconds to refill all hatred.

welcome back to the game!Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
I take it you want to play archon? in that case you need a lot more DPS and a lot more EHP for MP10. you can check out loroese's recommendations here. I think 630k DPS (fully buffed) is not necessary, but I can say for sure that 450k (my last archon wizard) is not enough for MP10. you would also need a lot more AR, armor and HP, but in the end getting sufficient DPS is the major problem for MP10 archon.
if you're willing to make a switch (back?) to CMWW, though, that's much easier in your case. required defensive stats to play cmww comfortably on MP10 in my opinion are around 800 AR, 4k armor and 40-50k life along with around 800 LoH. you can (relatively) easily get pretty close with 2 more AR+armor slots and some vit along the way (maybe go all vit on inna's). add a decent chantodo set with an apoc source and that should pretty much be it, especially given you have 2 LoH rings.
