if the items roll their stats during mp1+ runs, is the base damage of weapons still dependent on the ilvl of the weapon? I realized that on armor pieces, ilvl 58 has very low armor in comparison to e.g. ilvl63 but is it the same with weapons?Posted in: Diablo Tools

Yeah, i definitely remember a bluepost saying that players count as Elites. But that does not mean that they may balance that when pvp comes out, +30% for 1 ring is quite a damn big bonus.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I still do not entirely understand how this affix stack. Assuming i have a 1000 dps weapon (dealing 1000-1000 only physical dmg with 1,00 attacks per second) and innas belt giving + 8% as holy damage and a SoJ granting +5% dmg as cold.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
How do the items stack? Does anybody definitely know?
i) i get both bonusses on the base dps and get no profit from dealing damage as cold (no slow because 5%<8%), so i deal 1000+80+50= 1130 dps
ii) the same as a) but the bonusses stack: 1000*1.08*1.05= 1134 dps
iii) only the highest dps bonus is granted + only the highest bonus effect (no slow) is granted: 1080 dps
iv) i get both +% bonusses, and whether i deal cold or holy animations is based on a probability (?), although i only see the holy animation because the +% holy value is higher
v) any other i could not think of right now...

unless you are implying you have a better chance of there gear dropping if you play them?
The aim is simply to get more or less same efficiency with all characters because it would make most sense playing all of them more or less equally. People would fell mor motivated to play more classes than just the WW barb for farming.

I would really like to see a new concept which motivates players to play not just one class due to the Paragonbonus.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I mean i really like the Paragonsystem but it really keeps me off playing other classes than my WW barb. I would really like to invest more in gearing up my monk and WD, but because of the time I invested in my barb to earn 50+ Paragonlevels and my limited amount of time it is just far too inefficient to do so.
That is why I suggest an optimized Paragonconcept, especially the second one sounds really realizable:
1. very simple, but not ideal in the current stage of the game imo: Making paragon lvl account- instead of characterbound. For concepts like that the amount of needed xp has to be raised and that will not happen because it would be very unbalanced, favoring players who are at very high lvls with one single character.
2. my personal preference: +%XP-Buffs depending on the plvls of the other characters. Imagine you have a barb at plvl 50, a mage at plvl 20 and a DH at plvl 0.
You would get a bonus of +X %XP where X is the plvl of all your characters in total minus the one you are currently playing.
That would mean i my barb would get a bonus of "just" 20%, whereas the mage would get +50% and the DH even +70%.
I think things like this would be not unbalanced and of course the numbers can be easily modified and optimized with testing, that is just an idea i think would bring much more fun and flexibility to the game.
Please tell me what you think about the idea and if its realistic to hope for such optimizations.
