posted a message on Need to rebuild my Wizzard
My wizard is in pair with yours, i miss the vyr's hands to have that set fully active. I use aughild's set on shoulders and bracers and i do use mirorball(mine has +2). Also i don't use vyr's at all but rather have magefist + 2 pieces of cpt. crimson set and i am at 55% cdr and can almost stunlock everything. I just don't like using archon as it takes a slot but still sometimes u have elites in the space when archon is on cd.

I am doing t4 with ease and t5 if i play a bit more careful.

This is the spec i use http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#aeYOjS!bZTi!acZcac

Bulk-farming shards in level 1 T6 rifts is clearly broken, but despite its underlying grooviness, the RiF thing is also one hell of a distortion.

IMO shards shouldn't drop in rifts lower than level 70. On top of that, I also think that RGs shouldn't drop bonus shards... but in T1+, elite kills should drop small amounts, scaling up with torment level. Gear should come primarily from playing the damn game, not bunny-hopping from piñata to piñata.
    That's actually a fantastic idea. +1.
That's a great idea, But then again what would be the point of killing the RG. I am thinking smth in the way , RG drop x amount of shards and its increased by y amount where y would be depending on how many elites and white mobs you have killed, hell even if u die u lose some, that would really made ppl play more carefully but it would also be more fun that way.

Also casuals should stop whining, if u don't have the time u can't expect to be godly geared, in rl should ppl that study like 1hr a week be given a chance to get the same degree as someone that dedicates 1/3 of each day to his education(brilliant genius minds excluded) ? Should an amateur basketball player have the same contract, salary wise to someone that had dedicated all his life to train? Think not, so you will get more if u invest more.
This had me laughing. It's a game not a profession. If diablo is your profession there is a problem... I mean for real I play on average 1-2 hours a day and I'm stuck in T1-T2 I could use a little bit less randomization or a little bit of luck but that won't happen. and this game isn't even close to dead. Because you burned out on D3 too quickly doesn't mean it's burning out for everyone. the game is not dead PERIOD. go back to the hole in which you crawled from people the games fine, obviously bug fixing is in order but that doesn't mean the game is dead.

Except it's a fucking game. It's not real life. It's not a job.

If you think that people need to invest 50+ hours/week in Diablo to have "earned" the right to enjoy it then that goes to show how severely delusional you are.
    Quote from Time2Kill
then how can those that play 50+ hours/week enjoy themselves?
by getting out of the basement and getting fresh air.
So if i have 50 hrs a week to play it i must live in a dark basement and never go out of it, that's kind of insulting. Did i called you a crackhead or a drunk, lowlife scumbag? No, as i don't know what your life situation is. Your logic is mind blowing....All i said is if u invest 10 times less effort and time you shouldn't be awarded the same as someone who did spend that time..ok you should but in a longer period of time. Something that will take me 2 weeks you will need 4 to get simple as that. Dunno how many people even remember D3 when it came out, where you couldn't farm a4 without grouping up or getting some serious upgrades before and it was just fine that way(ok the repair cost to money earned ratio was not good). I personally like to challenge myself in the evening when i do play , i want to be able to fell great when i do complete a rift not like now.

Yesterday when the new "lvl1" rift method was discovered i just extended my headset, mouse and keyboard wires, went 2m away and now i play D3 from my couch using only wizards ice armor-frozen storm run around like a maniac and buying stuff from khadala... Thats some epic game we got there.

posted a message on patch 2.05 the end of RoS
This patch is killing this game and slamming it into the ground.

What is the point of the game? To someday be able to farm t5 or even t6 after several months of playing and getting your char to the point where you are actually satisfied with it.

What did we get with .05? A game that has come to the point where why the f*** would i farm t5 or t6 when i can just get 2-3k shards in 1 hour doing lvl1 rifts, play the game for 5-6 straight hours, get full possible sets in that day, farm few caches and get the ring you need, go see what spec top players play, copy it and steamroll t6. First few runs you will feel amazed at how strong your character has become and how now he can melt everything, u get a leg or set item and u just say mehhh got that one salvage it. After some time you run rifts with other people and all have godly gear, a great rolled jade chest drops and everybody just laughs and potentially they wont even pick it up.

Do you see my point now? I was farming like 10 +days each day with 3 others wd's to get my zuni set complete, today i spent like 6k shard, got a brand new, chest, new feet and offhand(that i already had but just wanted to see if it would drop), 3 pieces of jade and some other useless shit.

Then i went, played t6 with my friend that needed only jade hands, he got them, we played 45 mins 2 shotting everything . i left the party and game and felt so bad.

There is no more wow moments when anything drops except for maybe one of the 2-3 weapons that are bis for your class, potentially a soj and maybe neck. Everything other is so easy obtainable that it is just stupid.

They should add smth like daily bounty+rifts quests where you need to get a certain material that will eventually be infused with the gear making it higher level tier(ofc it would take like 2 weeks of everyday playing to get 1 piece upgraded). This higher level gear will make you able to do some secret game difficulty. This way casuals will be able to get all the gear and more "hc" players will have a feeling to they chars are better then some casuals.

Think not, so you will get more if u invest more.

posted a message on Upgrading the monk, what to look for
Recently i have equipped my monk with a new set of gear, switching from the TR that bored me to hell and now i love it, no scratch that, i am amazed with it. Because of that i actually started to play Diablo 3 more now and i am willing to spend some gold for upgrades.
I also have WKL in my stash http://imgur.com/hqJ437X and prefer playing with it.
    http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/TonaDaBoss-2286/hero/26043431
What should be changed on my monk.
I have a vision of changing the head for a mempo with 4+cc, changing the chest to ina with 65+ ar and stats'a as close to the current one(150-160 dex and 80 vit + 10+ life%).
Obviously i need to craft a better neck.Last thing i would change is a weapon to something with cd.socket, dex and ls and as close weapon dmg as this has.
Would that changes be ok , is 450 ar i have now enough or should i try to get more(i know more is better but on limited budget its kinda hard).
The budget i will get is around 1b, when i get back the money i loaned to a friend.
Also a question buildwise, what would be a good one, i kinda like the one i am on now but the Way of Hundred Fists pisses me, i prefer Fist of Thunder and some dual.gen palm/bell build over it.

Thanks to all in advance and have a good day.

posted a message on New Console Items better then Pc one's !
Like stated, the loot on console looks almost the same as on the pc, the items that are worth something on pc now are the same just have higher stats, the items that you don't even pick up on pc have their stats improved so they can compete with other.
If i had the console i would definitely buy the game, but i would never buy the console i don't own because the game, i would but that game would need to be something groundbreaking , never seen so that like 1/3 of my friends start to play it and the game would have like 3-4 times more players then wow had, then yes.
Because , the dates of everything are so well timed that this looks like a master plan that has been created over a year ago, maybe i am wrong and all this is just a coincidence but i doubt it, ruksak had some good points. All the companies first care about the profit, then they look at other things, they get in your head and then you dance like they want to.
I deeply hope the game will live up to the expectations, and that after several months people will still be happy about the game.

posted a message on The Complete Monk Guide
Didn't want to open a new thread as i got only two questions.
I don't see many monks with owe that stack physical resistance, is there something i am missing? I have it already on crafted shoulders and bracers and by far it would be my higher def stat. The aim is to go for 450 AR and around 650+ Physical res.
Second thing is, is wkl with +20 to lighting damage , socket and ls worth getting if the dps is around 830-850.

posted a message on Battle Standard - Flags with a purpose in 1.0.9
Honestly i like this idea, the standards that can actually be used is great. Maybe so they can be popped only when fighting elites to give the owner stat buff. Also they could make it so that the paragon would bring the bonus stat like +6 pickup radius on lvl 100 paragon along with the stat buff that they would add. Along side that they could add the cosmetic part here so that a standard could be imbued with a new kind of dye that emits a lightly colored cloud , and the size would be determined by the area of standard effect increased by the pickup radius.
Just a quick thought while i am cooking myself on 35 degrees in my room.

Ye i know, think twice buy once.
Is there any special reason why u wouldn't try cm/ww? It great for the high mp farming and group playing.

posted a message on Mp8 with Archon? 800M to spend. Started to Upgrade.
I will try to help but like i wrote in the prev post i am by no mean an expert on high mp archon farming so take my advice with a pinch of a doubt =)
Head - Mempo is great but with CC, i think you could get one with like 3.5cc & 8as for under 200M
Shoulders - I would continue to craft as much as i can, if yours rolled AR that would be just perfect but they are great.
Gloves - Again like shoulders, craft as much to get a good trifecta
Amulet - Same as the two above, avg dmg(min-max) dmg would be great for the dps boost.
Belt - Could be upgraded to a higher CD and maybe some vit if not to expensive.
LRing - Zuni is great but the LoH is not helping u at all, maybe a similar one stat wise but again with some avg dmg(min-max).
RRing - Idk if u need Hellfire ring for the exp keep it, but a high cc/cd with in and as high avg dmg and maybe even a socket would give a great boost or some sick trifecta preferably with int if not to expensive.
Boots - Try to get a +8 to poison as that 1% will directly be added to your sheet dps, maybe some AR to rise the EHP even more.
OH - Try to get more avg dmg and int on it. U will maybe need some vit but it depends on what u get on amulet and gloves.
MH - Think this a a great one and any upgrade would not be worth as it would cost half the budget,
Bracers - left it for last, dunno if Lacuni's would give more dmg and maybe switching the legs for some sick EHP ones with 180+ vit, high int , ar and 2 sockets.

What i like to do is use http://d3up.com/, sync my character and then create items i plan to buy, replace them and see what would change.
I would prioritize crafting(high rng but can yield high dps boost), then mempo and the RRing. After that is sorted take a look at Lacuni's vs Inna's and what you would get/lose if doing the above.
Hope this helps u a bit.

posted a message on Mp8 with Archon? 800M to spend. Started to Upgrade.
Can u post your current gear profile? The gear needed to farm that high mp is in range of around 5B gold maybe and that will not be as fast and efficient as CM/WW wizard.
You would need around 400-450k Unbuffed dps to be able to do it with over 300-350k EHP.
Someone that actually knows more about high mp archon farming could help u more, but i know that i can't go over mp4 with 250k Unbuffed dps and 350k EHP. The higher mp i go the more time i need to finish the run and in some point it just isn't as efficient as the lower mp is.

Thanks for all the help Morkai, i really appreciate it. Here is the link to profile, only thing i am not certain yet it should i use Thing of the Deep or the Uhkapian Serpent, it gives me 11k dps more but i feel the pickup radius is much more suited for the globe pickup and allows me to stack it up far better.

Thank you very much Morkai, i am sitting on the same 70 at the moment without the Zuni Vision and 4 piece set. The rest of the stats look almost the same as yours with few k dps less, will try to farm up some cash to get the helm and really start the build going, but its a great one and just shows how WD's are really a versatile class.
    Keep it up!
