Seeing a lot of search for new builds on the forums, so I thought I chip in with my version of a build that's been working very nice for me. I started after the patch with a RLTW-WW uptimized barb and actually quite fast found a build that has helped me from T2 to T4, where I'm currently farming pretty efficiently (elite packs down within 15-20 seconds on average). As you can tell, I'm no super geared 1337-streamer, but I wouldn't say I'm completely lost as I've mainly played barb since start and think I've got the mechanics pretty well figured.
Enough talk, here's the build: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#ahSdRT!ZYg!YZZYaY
Concept: Open with charge until it goes on cooldown, which should grant you sufficient fury to whirl a small bit and pull enemies close, use overpower and continue to whirl, charge and overpower till the mobs dies out or finish the remaining mobs with bash and have fury for the next attack. When facing elite packs, use same tactics, but after the first overpower, use earthquake and keep the pack close with ww.
This build doesn't work particularlywell on singel-target bosses, so usually I switch to an alternative build just before where I change some runes and skills, for instance I use this on ubers: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#ahYdRT!ZYe!YcbbaY
As you can see, there is actually room to change the builds around a bit, but the idea is basically building fury with charge, overpower and keeping mobs close with the hurricane ww rune so the strongest can be killed with earthquake.

I see the persistence of NV stacks through acts as a possible first step towards a "D2 mode". The next step is to re-code the teleport UI to include the other acts and then alter the questline, although a new/final quest called "openworld" (or the likes), where everything was accessible in all acts, but no quests were available, would be an easy solution.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I honestly don't think it's that hard to implement, but Blizzard is possibly postponing it to a future patch or expansion.
And the grandest part of this could be the possibility of Caine being saved from death and that one could travel back to act1 in anytime to have one's rares identified in an instant

I've personally found that adding AS will greatly improve your game, both DPS and healing wise. I have rather low defensive stats, and a crit rate just above 50% buffed, but as I'm hitting the mobs constantly with tornados and able to burn rage quick with whirlwind, I breeze through mp5. I need to be a little carefull with arcane sentries, but otherwise not much can kill me.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
Actually I'm wondering if I can take the step up and farm keys on MP6, but right now I'm in no rush.
My profile is on eu and is called Marcshall#2555.
