You do realize Paragon didnt launch with the game right? Farmed for 15 hours today and havent gotten a single legendary or even an item to post on the AH. Guess I need to maybe up it to 20 hours a day. Im gonna beat RNG and make gold in this game if it kills me.

Oh well I will just keep farming my 8+ hours every day. Eventually I have to start getting good drops.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

So yea I wonder how many lvl 63s or rings, ammys or even legendaries I have missed because Blizzard refuses to add a real Legendary drop alert and bans anyone for using a good addon that does nothing but lets you know a Legendary dropped. I prefer to listen to music while I play games not have the game sound maxed out with no other noises in my house so maybe I can hear a legendary drop
You can't see a big lazer beam shooting up at the sky or the blip for about 5 seconds on your mini map? I run the same way and have never used sound in d3 yet have never had an issue spotting a legendary.
Either way even before they added the beams I realized missing legendaries is the price I might pay for speed running...
If they are going to force people to speed run because more drops means better chance at beating RNG and getting something good then they shoud have auto loot for rares. Id rather have to stop every 10 minutes to drop a few crappy ones than miss than one badass one cause I kept plowing.

By the way, I've found almost all of my legendaries from white trash mobs. Keeps 2 > all elite packs.

Really? I have been on some WoW servers that were pretty badly populated. I can assure you NO IT CANT. One reason alone. NO AUCTION HOUSE. Go to a bottom of the barell wow server and look at the AH. Theres nothing for sale because theres hardly anyone on that server. Just because D3 doesnt have a sub and had high release sales doesnt mean it can function with 100 or even 100,000 players. It needs millions or the AH and RMAH wont work. Why do you think everyone is having such a hard time now selling anything compared to a few weeks after launch? Its because theres so few players left that everyone is either uber geared or cant afford to be uber geared because entry-mid level gear is so damn dirt cheap they will never make enough gold to buy upgrades unless they played for 2 years.

Are these bad for loot or something? Its the only thing I can do right now as I was on a budget to begin with. In around 20 minutes as a TR monk I can do:Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Field of Slaughter + Cave...people skip cave for some reason but its always 2-3 elites, usually a goblin, and a resplendant and they are small as hell.
Keep 3... fast and 2-3 elites
Keep 2 till I hit a dead end unless I have fleeting then i circle back and clear the map
Skycrown backwards... up to 5 elites plus goblins
So Im usually getting 2-3 resplendants and 3-4 goblins per run and a ton of elites and Im paragon 25 and havent gotten a SINGLE legendary thats been to auction. Hell havent even sold a rare for a million yet. Its gonna take me till Diablo 4 is released to get 400-500 mil in gear so I can start doing MP 4-5. I just dont know what Im doing wrong to get no loot.
How are people beating RNG and walking around with a billion in gold worth of gear. I started at releases but quit for a while so probably played for a total of 4 months since the game went live. In those 4 months I have probably made 100 million gold, 25 million of that is looted gold according to my stats, so at that rate it will take me 3 years to have a billion gold. Yet people did it in 3 months. I just dont understand. I am online every day for 7-8 hours. Is that not enough? Should I be farming 12-15 hours a day? Im putting in the effort so Im not like a bunch of whiney WoW crybabies that want free raid quality loot for no effort. But Im not seeing the rewards for it. Its like D3 is the total opposite of WoW. You work your ass off for nothing and in WoW loot is thrown at you and you never have to leave town. And they wonder why everyone quit.

1K DPS weapons with LS, open socket and crit are off the charts unless you wanna spend 200 mil you wont get one with 2.7% LS. Right now searhing for 850 average damage with open socket, crit, and 2.5 LS cheapest one is 330 mil. Even if you drop the crit damage and pick up Int instead cheapest is still 30 mil for 150+ int. Also the 15-18% bonus damage from Triumvirate makes it far better than scorn.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories

Here's a link of your gear on a wizard. If you create an account on that site and import your monk (set class to wizard and paragon to 0) you can even edit your character and add OHs etc. as you like. With any OH and using Glass Canon passive you will be well beyond the 100k mark, so definitely enough for MP0 and probably even MP1. Not sure if the monk->wizard conversion really gets rid of all the defensive base stats that your monk has (at least it subtracts the stats gained for 20 paragon levels).
Just added in my Trumvirate and it shot up to 167k DPS. And obviously thats not counting Sparkflint or Magic Weapon or passives like Glass cannon. Just tried addng those and it went over 200k. http://d3up.com/b/157618
Also just swapped some pieces and lost 50 int but gained 50 resist all and another 80 physical resist. I think thats worth a 50 int loss.
With 200k buffed you'd be fine in MP2. That's what I farm and I have 210k, and I use the teleport rune on Archon with Scramble Armor. Higher MPs are possible but not as efficient.
Kinda lame. With 200k DPS a WW Barb would be laughing at MP 4 or 5.
