It's a good system. Otherwise everyone will just max cc instantly which is kinda boring.
It's funny how they mention problems with the current paragon system that I already knew would happen before it launched. I mean no one wants to play with a new character when you have a paragon 100 since you'll lose a ton of stats and 300% MF. The only reason I did was because it was also pointless to play with paragon 100 when you don't earn any exp so I used MF items on all my new characters. Broken system, glad they're fixing it.
I dont think shuting down the AH will be a good thing.Unless they put a good trade system the channel will be overwhelmed with spam about trades. And there will be sites overpricing the best items for far beyhond 200 dolars or 200kk gold.
Exactly this. The millions of casuals playing the game will be happy not caring about item values but we who play for good items will have to go to third party sites and buy for gold/money so it will be the same thing but involve a lot more work. GREAT. They better add a good trading system.
If this happened on EU I would also quit. It's not acceptable. Breaking the economy just for 12-24 hours of gameplay? Who the hell cares, those hours are nothing in the long run.
If they reduce rare item drops with 75% then they should just reduce crafting material requirements by the same amount. Just that thing alone would make rare items more attractive.
I love the new crafting, it's kind of like gambling in D2. Account bound doesn't matter to me, it's much more fun crafting something yourself and be excited about the stats. For a person like me who has good gear but not top tier, it's definitely better crafting 1000 amulets instead of buying one on the AH for 100 million gold. And I believe it will be the same for top tier geared players, since the new rares are capable of beating any current rare. You already have six guaranteed stats and the main stat rolled which makes a huge difference compared to finding a rare and have it roll max stats. Keep that in mind.
And yeah, shitty answers to shitty questions. There should have been way more questions answered. I really don't like the idea with having to craft new gems all the time though, the whole point to me is that you should be able to swap them out as you like without having to pay a fortune.
I hope the tokens are used for trading in and receiving exp/gold/items in return, or to strengthen crafting somehow. Also an easy solution to preventing pay-to-win in PvP is to hold one league for those who have bought on RMAH and one for those who haven't... honestly it would be dumb NOT to do that because it's such a huge difference on perfect gear compared to good-for-not-having-bought-on-RMAH gear.
