I think that there is no much point to farm the hell out of the game right now anyway.
I'm pretty sure that the XP curve will actually remain the same, resulting in billions of experience needed to get far above paragon 100.
All this will be compensed with lvl 70 mobs yielding A LOT more xp than currently. That way even if earned paragon xp is not wasted, people that start the game with the xpac will catch up easily. Thats the Blizzard way to do things, this xpac will not be a full reset, but a soft reset to encourage people who stopped before paragon was even introduced to come back.
Will P500 give you an early advantage? Yes..
But every hours spent farming today will be equivalent to five minutes of farming at lvl 70 anyway (xp wise), and all loot you get now will be trashed @ 70 (unless you can sell it for $).

How does the assist duration on Archon works in 1.08?Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
Do I need to actually hit the mobs? or if the mob die and I'm close enough to get xp?
Did they update this mechanic with other "on death" spells such as Arcane Torrent and Ray of Frost?

This isn't specific to wizard, but what i'd love to have a list of what rare items are worth looting (mainly worth losing archon time for).Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
Not in the way some people do it like (ilvl63 1H) but more with a specific item name the same way they appear on the ground, something I could have opened on my side screen and look at while playing until I perfectly remember them.

I'm looking for suggestion of run for act 1 and 2. Which place would allow you to keep nearly perma Archon in those acts? I'm looking for a change of scenary, kinda bored of act3, but I doubt I'll find anything close from Keep lvl2 mob density.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories

Why not wear a SOJ all the time then, if that's such a good dps boost (real dps boost, not just for character sheet bragging).Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I'm wearing a 27% /6% soj, and It's indeed a bigger efficiency boost than any other ring given how fast white mobs melt compared to elites.

I believe the way reflect damage works is like a % mirror. It reflects a certain % (I think 10% when I reverse calculated it in act 1 a few months ago - maybe it changes from act to act) of your damage including the element you´re attacking with. This damage is reduced by your armor and resistances.
So consider attacking with an element that you resist the most. Ever since I´ve upped my dps and reflect damage is not dodgeable anymore (my WotB barb dodges more than 1/3 of attacks) I´ve also encountered issues with this affix (my main hand is lightning which is my lowest resist). It´s almost auto-kill if there´s also electrified or molten and I play too agressively with my barb as I can´t outheal the damage I do lol.
If it was easier to come across reflect damage monsters purposely, I would test the exact mechanics, maybe I´ll do it anyway.
I'll be very interested if someone actually tested it, or got some evidence on what type of damage (ie what resistance matters) regarding reflect damage.
Assuming I'm using arcane missile with weapon with fire damage (just for an example).
The reflected damage could be:
-Based on the skill used (in this case Arcane damage)
-Always of a specific type (could be Physical then or something else)
-Based on the weapon used (in this case mostly Fire damage)
