The lack of the two fist weapons means you are missing half the damage of SSS and half the damage of the exploding palms. The biggest hit is not having the lions claw how ever, getting these I would image jump you up in rifts alone.
When it comes to the ring, I am on the fence about it like most, but I have seen both arguments and you can do it with or without the broken promises. I just changed the gem in my helm to a diamond and use that. It might slow you down some but eventually you will find a balance. Your biggest thing is the fist weapons. You are missing so much of your damage by not having those. At the least half.
Also do you have the Diabo that reduces the cool down of SSS by 40-60%? It also makes a huge difference. I remember getting that and jumping up almost 5 Greater Rifts. That was lower rifts but still shows that it makes a difference.
I've been using a build focusing around life steal with Rend (Blood Lust) since I don't have the damage for normal life steal or LoH. I put that down and have gone back to using my favorite leveling skill: Furious Charge with Merciless Assault. I love being able to spam it in large groups.
To suppliment the build I'm using Iron Impact (huge armor buff now that you get more armor for jumping into a large group), War Cry Impunity (because my gear still isn't very good), and Battle Rage with maurader's rage (to once again boost myself from my moderate equipment).
I've been using Bash with Instigation for high rage and combining with Berserker Rage, but i'm not sure if I want to keep that up. It's been working but I have been looking into alternatives. It's not the best build, I'm sure, but it's been fun even if I die to high damage mobs. A lot of the issue I have is I just don't have high resists or armor, I've not had very good luck with finding gear I want and I avoid using the AH 90% of the time for my own gear.

30m is relatively little gold to be honest. I know it seems like alot but once you figure out money making it will be easy. It's very discouraging until your successful. I know i been there and haven't left yet. But bottom line is you gotta just keep playing. The streamers and the elites aren't good cause they are lucky or know some secret trick. They are good cause they play endless hours. check our moldran.
And although the WW/Sprint barb is nerfed in 1.0.5 lots of elite barbs say it still works but its just not as op as before.

I currently run a sprint barb build with 60k dps before buff and 180k after buff.
I will gladly test new builds if you have one you wanna see tested.
I'm giving away all my I63 at the end of each run.
I do keep depths then random locations after that. Depends on what i feel like doing.
I like to keep the game fun so I don't just grind one run over and over.
Testing legendary drops so wish me luck. Hope to collect useful data.
Overall though. They are random. All we can do is get an intelligent estimate of when they will drop.
